What would this world be like without rocks?

shasta2020oct30th47rocks2io.jpg

Rocks, boulders, pebbles and sand.
Upper trail lake Alaska.

Rock faces along the highway.

My most favorite boulders at
the beach by Clam Gulch
are called the SIsters.

Captain Cook park has many stones
showing up at low tide.

Walking the beaches over the years
we have found tons of pretty rocks.
These are just a few of them that
now live in our home.

Thank you dear @melinda010100
for the heads up on rocks!

Thank you ❤ @melinda010100! Took a lot of years, use
to go out more often when we were closer to the best
beach. Over the years that beach got a lot of hunters.

Thank you for participating in the challenge @shasta!
Rocks and stones enliven the landscape just as oases enliven deserts :-)
Nice collection of colored stones :-). I've also found a lot of them, but I only take home those who "let me" :-)

Thank you ❤ @bucipuci! Awesome challenge you have, lots of
rock lovers on the hive! Most rocks here want to be taken to
a warm home rather than spend a frozen winter outside lol :-)

Many rock admirers probably did not read this challenge.
If I brought home all the stones I like, I would have a big hill out of them in the backyard :-)

Thank you ❤ @porters! There is a number of boulders around
here, I keep trying to find new ones when we go out.
What mountains did you visit? I'm happy you like my rocks! :-)

I visited the Rocky Mountains in B.C. and Alberta Canada! I went skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
