Oreo Milo Balls

Hi everyone
Today I have a little story and want to share with you a simple recipe for making my sister Wulandari's favorite snack. When my sister was picked up from school with Aunt Parni, she brought 3 packs of powdered Milo milk and 1 large pack of Oreos. I was confused as to why she brought 3 packs of milo powder, apparently she wanted me to make Oreo milo balls. That is her favorite food, when I come home from college holidays like this she will definitely ask me to make her the food she likes. Wulan said that she wasn't good at making her own favorite food, even though she told Aunt Parni the ingredients and how to make it, it still tasted like something was different.

Because Wulan only brought 3 packs of powdered Milo milk and 1 pack of Oreos, so I told her to buy sweetened condensed milk or SKM from the shop next to our house. when all the materials were there, I was still waiting for a month for tutoring or studying in the afternoon to do the assignments given by the teacher at school. But I felt like my little sister had been studying for quite a long time this afternoon, so I immediately made the snack that she asked me to make so that when she came home what she wanted would already be there because making her favorite snack is very easy and simple.

✿ ingredients

  • Oreo 1 pack
  • Milo milk powder 2 sachets
  • Sweetened condensed milk to taste

✿ how to make oreo milo balls

  • First grind the Oreos, so put the Oreos in plastic or a container that can grind the Oreos.
  • I just use the manual method using plastic and my mother's grinding stone

  • Once the Oreos are smooth, pour the Oreos into a slightly large container

  • Then add enough sweetened condensed milk to the Oreos

  • prepare the topping with 1 sachet of Milo milk and pour it into a container
    IMG_0595.jpeg

  • Take a little dough then shape it into a small round shape like a ball

  • then put it in a container with powdered milo milk topping, then place it in another container
    IMG_0603.jpeg

  • do so until the dough runs out

  • and Oreo milo balls ready to be eaten by my sister

That's how I make one of my sister's favorite snacks, friends. Actually, I don't know what name is right for this snack made from Oreos and Milo milk that I made, but because my sister really likes it and always calls it Oreo Milo Balls, I'm calling it that until now. It's simple to make snacks from these three ingredients, you don't need tools or ingredients that are hard to find. So I hope you guys try it at home. I hope you also leave a trail of comments on my blog because you are interested in making it at home, thank you for visiting my blog today.

The oreo balls sound yummy! They look like one of those elegant, sophisticated chocolate truffles. I love the recipe looks simple quick to make and without many dirty dishes. I think the kids would love them too!
Using a stone to grind cookies is a clever idea!
