Good night people!

Splinterlands' relationship with normal players, here referring to normal players as the player who doesn't have as much purchasing power and investment to invest in our dear card game, is not going very well with some changes that will soon affect all of its development, as well as unfair matches due to bots and the same old story.

In the meantime, the Splinterlands 5-year-old event began, with its form of participation burning DEC so that those who are among the top 200, that is, those who burn the most DEC, would win a guaranteed title in addition to some other prizes.

The full post can be checked by clicking on the image below. Image credit is also from this related post.

Not only that, on the first day of the event for every 1 DEC burned, we would earn 3 points, where upon reaching the value of 10k points, we would win 1 coupon to participate in the raffles of very cool items, which can be seen in the image below:

So for my participation, I burned 16,600 DEC and 100 DEC-B and multiplying by 3, I got 50,100 points by winning 5 coupons for the raffles:

If I'm lucky enough to get a Land or a Runi which are the highest value prizes, I believe that first I would go crazy and secondly I would have the strategy to sell these 2 items to get resources and with these resources, invest in improving my collection of cards and make a heavy investment in SPS to put in stake.

Plans aside, the real reason that motivated not only me, but all members of the Hive BR guild was the novelty called Guild Power, which will be a new way to improve our guild's buildings, granting independence greater for the members, because if for some reason the same leaves or is kicked from the guild, 90% of this GP will be returned to the player who contributed, while the remaining 10% will remain in construction.

When a player leaves or is kicked out of a guild, 90% of their contributed GP goes with them and can be applied again to another guild unless they have specifically chosen to donate it to the guild (more on that below). The other 10% remains as a permanent donation to the guild.

This is the only way that GP can ever leave a building. Once contributed, you cannot "un-contribute" whenever you want; your GP contributions will remain locked in the buildings for as long as you remain a member of your guild.

Introducing Guild Power

This new system is very interesting, I believe it is even more fair, because I always had this idea in mind: the player who donates to a guild, if for some reason he is withdrawn, even against his will, what would he take back? return? Of course now we have the SPS and the possibility to earn the merits, but all the evolution was stuck in the guild buildings.

So with this new feature, the cool thing is that this serves as a motivation for the player to stay in that guild, considering that if he leaves, the building may lose level. I don't see it as a bad thing, an obligation, but as a way for both to win somehow.

While the player is there, his power and contribution serve the guild, if he needs to leave, he will get 90% of his invested resource back and so he can invest in some other guild, without necessarily starting a DEC donation from scratch the same as today .

My contribution wasn't even much for the prizes, of course if I win I'll be very happy, but from the beginning I focused exactly on trying to get some GP so that when they release the update, I could help my guild.

Sometimes it's not even for the money or prizes, but for the cool, fun and cool moments we have when living in a community, which lead us to do something more, in favor of the collective and not of individualism.

Thank you all so much and see you next time!

Boa noite, pessoal!
