Great news was released recently: the number of Brazilian investors in cryptocurrencies increased from 2021 to 2022, despite the shy growth of just 1% (we went from 2% to 3%), more people declared to be investing in digital assets.

These data are official and confirmed by the 6th edition of “Raio-X do Investidor”, published by the Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Market Entities (ANBIMA), thus, a total of 6.3 million of Brazilians declared investing in cryptocurrencies in the year 2022.

This news may not directly influence those who are already investing here in Hive, but we know that its adoption by Brazilians is still low, so, for this 1% increase, we should celebrate, as it shows that the dissemination of information about crypto is on the rise.

Consequently, more people understanding about this subject, may mean that it is easier to bring them into Hive, explaining only their individualities and how it works, but, roughly speaking, the information about what a cryptocurrency is will already be in the minds of our novice bees.

So, with the positive thought that gradually people will understand, understand and will be willing to invest, it may be a great time to introduce Hive to people close to us, always based on true news and that comes from safe sources.

• Generation Z (16 to 25 years old): 7%

• Millennials (26 to 40 years old): 4%

Although for me, the concept of crypto is and should be for everyone, we can see that everything is still a big news, and the younger generation is the one that gets a little more involved with cryptocurrencies and it scares me that people with 60+ years do not invest anything in this regard.

We still have a long way to go and much to disclose, it is not easy and I believe it never will be, even more so with the number of scams and lies involving cryptocurrencies, there is little care and all information must be carefully disclosed with the maximum efficiency (and truth) possible.

For the future, we can hope that this number increases much more and that with it, more people get a new source of income different from what we are traditionally used to. We will fight for this to happen.

Essa notícia talvez não influencie diretamente quem já está investindo aqui na Hive, mas sabemos que a adoção da mesma por parte dos brasileiros ainda é baixa, então, por este aumento de 1%, devemos comemorar, pois isso mostra que a difusão da informação sobre criptos está aumentando.

Consequentemente, mais pessoas entendendo sobre esse assunto, pode significar que seja mais fácil trazê-las para dentro da Hive, explicando apenas suas individualidades e como é o seu funcionamento, mas, a grosso modo, a informação sobre o que é uma criptomoeda já estará na mente de nossas abelhas novatas.

Então, com o pensamento positivo de que gradualmente as pessoas irão entender, compreender e terão a vontade de investir, pode ser que seja um ótimo momento para apresentar a Hive para as pessoas próximos de nós, sempre se embasando em notícias verdadeiras e que venham de fontes seguras.

Apesar de que para mim, o conceito de cripto é e deve ser para todos, podemos observar que tudo ainda é uma grande novidade, sendo que a geração mais nova é a que se envolve um pouco mais com as criptomoedas e me assusta que pessoas com 60+ anos não invistam nada neste quesito.

Ainda temos um longo caminho para percorrer e muito a se divulgar, não é fácil e acredito que nunca será, ainda mais com a quantidade de golpes e mentiras que envolvem as criptomoedas, todo cuidado é pouco e toda informação deve ser cuidadosamente divulgada com a máxima eficiência (e verdade) possível.

Para o futuro, podemos desejar que este número aumente muito mais e que com isso, mais pessoas consigam uma nova fonte de renda diferente do que estamos tradicionalmente acostumados. Lutaremos para isso acontecer.
