[EN/PT-BR] Adventure Time: In search of the perfect branch!

It's not really my thing to post photos, much less showing something as crazy as what I did, but I thought it was really cool because I did something that's different from my routine of sitting in front of computers or watching series on TV.

What I did was really take advantage of the holiday we had here in Brazil last Tuesday, to go to the middle of the “mato”, as we say here when we leave the city to go to some farm, forest, field, or something like that. Why did I do this? To look for a tree branch that would be interesting for my wife, as I had a sensational decoration project for her beauty salon.

OK, maybe this isn't the best of introductions, so I'll show you through photos and small comments what this real adventure was like, which made me enter an environment that wasn't my usual one, but one that I loved being there. Leaving the cement and concrete bubble for a bit to go to a very green place, on a rainy day and experiencing something that I hadn't experienced in a long time!

So let's go!

It all started here, my wife and I started to enter this area with lots of greenery and trees, where, in fact, we didn't leave the city, if we can say so, we were surprised because this place is close to home, in the same neighborhood where I live, simply taking a few streets here and there, we arrived at this place, went by car and with 2 more of my wife's friends, some old women, but damn, they looked like forestry guides, soon there will be some photos showing them!

I don't know exactly what my wife was thinking, but she reached for this branch, but for what she had me with, there was no way it would work out with this one, but in any case I think she wanted to make fun of me. Pause for some photos obviously! One detail is that in these photos, above and below, we can see the trail has a lot of water due to the heavy rain it had earlier, well, we had to get our feet wet to get through this place!

While my wife's two friends arrived and started to move forward, we stayed there for a while, thinking about whether we should go or not. Well, if we have photos, we have history! Of course, we jumped head (or feet) into this adventure and moved on too! As we often see people saying, it is important to create memories, moments with the people we love, which in this case is my wife, who I insisted on going on this adventure to help her.

A New World!

I never tire of saying that I'm a nerd and for me, forests, farms and lots of greenery is not an essential program, I'm not one to travel places or go on “Stranger Things” style adventures, but, damn, it's like I have discovering a new world, in the world I live in! Poetic, but that's more or less what I felt. These photos are from before we crossed that trail full of water!

It was a very flooded place, with water everywhere, but such a vivid and intense green, damn, I remember it was “chuviscando”, I don't know if anyone outside of Brazil knows it by this name, but chuviscando means falling a very fine rain, very faint, which gave an air of grace to this whole scenario, with a mild temperature, a thermal sensation of freshness and that smell of wet grass, all of this made me reflect, how long had it been since I had direct contact like this with this environment?

The most beautiful thing was that all the time I was hearing sounds of nature, the sound of drops in water (I don't really know where that was from, but there was one), birds singing, flying through the sky, stopping in small trees or on the ground, on the fence. I remember seeing macaws and if I'm not mistaken, I heard a noise that sounded like something hitting wood, I can't confirm it, but I believe it could even be a woodpecker, but I was only guided by the sound, I didn't have the visual contact.

I felt the cold wind due to the rainy weather, passing through the leaves, damn, that sound of wind in the leaves, my God, what a wonderful feeling of calm and tranquility! It was so incredible! There was no loud, heavy city noise, cars, horns, people, just silence and the effects of nature! It was like a game, in which you turn the music volume to zero, but leave the effects volume on high, it was sensational!

So, enough talk and let's go into this forest or thicket, or green kingdom! It doesn't matter, we just go, when the time comes to wet our feet and cross this trail! 😁

Did I comment on the sound of running water? No, just the drops, well, after passing that trail, guess what! A river, there's a river near my house and I had no idea about it! Here we affectionately call it “córrego” and there was a wooden bridge for us to cross, unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the wood, but don't worry, there's a photo of this wooden bridge further on.

Therefore, the photo on the left is where the stream comes from and the photo on the right is where it goes, I say this because it was remarkable to see the direction of the water, with your own eyes you can see the direction of the river, which even fish there was, because you could see that moment when they go up, give the water a stir and go down again.

After the wooden bridge and the river, we walked a little more, along this trail in the image below, I stopped to take a photo of my love walking in front. It is notable that there was a lot of stuff here, really rubbish, which shows that some people must come here and unfortunately leave this negative mark.

After this trail, I started taking some photos of the environment, the place and my God again, what a beautiful place, even the clouds matched everything my nerdy eyes were seeing, the sounds of nature, especially the birds singing and the wind, a feeling of immense peace! I also found this vivid green, so real and intense, sensational!

Further on I saw that there was a kind of lake, as I don't have the experience of going through this place, I can't say if this water is just because it rained the day before or if it really is a lake that is there, Anyway, another point of beauty and lots of green!

I have no idea what this tree was, but I thought it was very beautiful and unique in the space it was in, as it was green and had some yellow leaves, something that made it stand out from afar, so I stopped and took these two photos.

This place I found very strange, a little after the tree with the yellow leaves, I saw that there was this big tree, with garbage and everything, but what I found most strange was that the leaves, branches and everything else there at the base of it were with this brown color and everything around it was green. So what happened here?

You won't be able to see it very well from the photos, but from what I remember it was a strange highlight, everything around it was a vivid green, but this part centered on the trunk was all brown, lifeless, even some of the leaves that They were after her, they looked like that. I was very intrigued by this, could it be an effect of the trash? Some chemicals or something?

Here is another very unique tree, with its very twisted branches and a fruit (or more fruits, I don't remember now), again I thought it was a really cool thing, well highlighted in the environment, showing that even though we are in the same place, many things can be different. I like to think of this as people, even though humanity shares the same place in different parts of the world, this does not mean that people will be the same in their way of living and thinking, just because they are in the same place.

This was the limit of where I arrived, this time we just walked in a straight line, until we reached this point where we could see the trail started to curve, so here it was fine, a lot of records had already been made and everything, there was no need to go further along this trail.

The highlight is that in this place I was able to take a photo of this hill, where there are several antennas, called “Moron do Mendanha” and since I remember, it has always had this bunch of antennas on it. There is a lot of news about people who sometimes venture there and there were even records of cameras recording footage of a jaguar in the newspaper once! That's so crazy!

I also took a photo of a bamboo, I believe it's not very common to see one of these around here, but I found this lone warrior in the middle of this green expanse.

To close this section, I thought about doing something unusual, which was stepping hard on the earth to leave my footprint, like a mark that I was there, it looked pretty cool in my opinion. We can also see that my shoes even changed color due to the water I had to step through to get to this part of the trail, which I mentioned at the beginning of the post. It was soaking wet and the feeling of wet socks is horrible! 🤣

End of the Adventure and Result!

Coming to the end of this adventure, do you remember that I said that two of my wife's friends went with us? And who were ahead? So now we can have a glimpse of them. The photo where they are furthest away is the moment when they returned with the famous piece of branch that we went to look for for my wife. After that, we went back a little, close to the river bridge so that the leaves could be removed.

It turns out that the branch ended up breaking, it looks like it was a bit rotten, worn out and as a result of removing the leaves, it ended up breaking. Everyone there was a little apprehensive, but nothing too serious, after all we just had to look a little longer for another branch that would work!

Unfortunately I don't have records of the moment we found this other branch, because it was a good fight to get this piece. You can see that my wife has a machete in her hand, well, I was the one who removed this branch from the tree, because it was a little higher than we could reach, so we came up with a plan to get it, in which I first I jumped a few times and pulled what I could from him, so my wife and her friends held him down and with that, I used the machete to hit him on the branch to get out of the tree.

After that, the process of removing the leaves again. Please don't judge, but we made a little mess of this place. 😅

After removing the leaves, the branch looked like this, it could even be used as a Christmas tree perhaps, but the planning of my love for it is different! So this new branch with these ends was everything she wanted, this one came out much better than the one that broke obviously. Here we can also notice the wooden bridge that I mentioned in those photos of the river, damn, I remember it was scary to walk across it, but everything was fine in the end!

Despite the fear, nothing like a photo of victory to remember this moment! My wife chose to take this photo on the bridge, where the river water was very high, a detail that I didn't mention back there, anyway, we took these photos holding our prize, which was the whole adventure to get these branches.

Quite an adventure, right?

Of course, I couldn't leave you curious as to why I was looking for these branches, so in the photos below I share with you what my wife did: she created a decoration on the branches, with these plastic flowers, she did all of this manually, just by seeing some videos on social media and with that he created this beauty, using his skill with these works.

Now all she has to do is buy a vase, place it inside and leave it in the main room, where she does her clients' nails, matching all the renovations she did, changing some colors and details, this arrangement will look wonderful!

My friends, this is the conclusion of this adventure in nature, in search of the perfect branch to create this fantastic decoration! I don't know if I will ever repeat this, but it really makes me want to do this, disconnect from the world and go to a place that is like this, natural, green, with the sounds and movements that I have seen and heard so much, if I have the next opportunity I will definitely go, looking for new adventures!

Não é muito da minha praia fazer postagens de fotos e muito menos mostrando algo tão maluco como o que fiz, mas, achei bem legal porque fiz algo que é diferente da minha rotina de ficar na frente de computadores ou vendo séries na TV.

O que fiz foi realmente aproveitar o feriado que tivemos aqui no Brasil na terça-feira passada, para ir para o meio do “mato”, como dizemos por aqui quando saímos da cidade para ir em alguma fazenda, floresta, campo, ou algo assim. Por que fiz isso? Para buscar por um galho de árvore que fosse interessante para a minha esposa, pois tinha um projeto de decoração sensacional para o salão de beleza dela.

OK, talvez essa não seja a melhor das introduções, portanto, mostrarei por meio de fotos e pequenos comentários como foi essa verdadeira aventura, que me fez entrar em um ambiente que não é o de costume, mas que amei estar por lá. Saindo um pouco da bolha de cimento e concreto para ir para um lugar de muito verde, em um dia de chuva e vivendo algo que não vivia há muito tempo!

Então vamos lá!

Tudo começou aqui, eu e a minha esposa começando a entrar nessa área de muito verde e árvores, onde, na verdade, não sairmos da cidade, se assim podemos dizer, nós ficamos surpresos por que esse lugar é perto de casa, no mesmo bairro que moro, simplesmente pegando umas ruas aqui e ali, chegamos neste lugar, fomos de carro e com mais 2 amigas da minha esposas, umas mulheres de idade já, mas caramba, pareciam guias florestais, em breve terá umas fotos mostrando elas!

Não sei bem no que a minha esposa estava pensando, mas ela chegou a pegar este galho, mas para o que ela havia me tido, não teria como dar certo com este, mas de qualquer forma acho que ela quis fazer graça comigo. Pausa para umas fotos obviamente! Um detalhe é que nestas fotos, acima e abaixo, podemos observar a trilha está com bastante água por conta da chuva forte que havia tido mais cedo, pois bem, tivemos que molhar os pés para passar nesse lugar!

Enquanto as duas amigas da minha esposa já chegaram e meterem o pé para ir em frente, ficamos um tempo ali, pensando, se deveríamos ir ou não. Bem, se temos fotos, temos história! É claro que entramos de cabeça (ou de pés) nesta aventura e seguimos em frente também! Como muitas vezes vemos as pessoas falando, é importante criar memórias, momentos com as pessoas que amamos, que no caso é a minha esposa, que fiz questão de ir nessa aventura para ajudá-la.

Um Mundo Novo!

Não canso de dizer que sou um nerd e para mim, florestas, fazendas e muito verde não é um programa essencial, não sou de viajar pelos lugares ou ir em aventuras no estilo “Stranger Things”, mas, caramba, é como se eu tivesse descobrindo um novo mundo, no mundo que eu vivo! Poético, mas era mais ou menos isso que eu sentia. Essas fotos ainda são de antes de atravessamos aquela trilha cheia de água!

Era um lugar bastante alagado, com água para todos os lados, mas um verde tão vivido e tão intenso, caramba, lembro que estava chuviscando, não sei se fora do Brasil alguém conhece por este nome, mas chuviscando quer dizer caindo uma chuva bem fina, bem fraquinha, o que dava um ar de graça para todo esse cenário, com uma temperatura amena, uma sensação térmica de frescor e aquele cheiro de grama molhada, tudo isso me fez refletir, há quanto tempo não tinha um contato direto assim com este ambiente?

O mais bonito era que o tempo todo estava ouvindo barulhos da natureza, barulho de gotas em água (não sei bem da onde era isso, mas tinha), pássaros cantando, voando pelos céus, parando nas pequenas árvores ou no chão mesmo, na cerca, lembro de ter visto araras e se não me engano, escutava um barulho que parecia algo batendo em madeira, não tenho como confirmar, mas acredito que poderia ser até mesmo um pica-pau, mas me orientava apenas pelo som mesmo, não tive o contato visual.

Sentia o vento gelado por conta do clima de chuva, passando pelas folhas, caramba, aquele barulho de vento nas folhas, meu Deus, que sensação maravilhosa de calma e muita tranquilidade! Era tão incrível! Não tinha aquele barulho alto e pesado de cidade, de carros, buzinas, pessoas, apenas um silêncio e os efeitos da natureza! Era como se fosse um jogo, no qual você zera o volume da música, mas deixa os volume dos efeitos no alto, era sensacional!

Então, chega de conversa e vamos para dentro dessa floresta ou matagal, ou reino verde! Não importa, apenas vamos, ao chegar o momento de molhar os pés e atravessar essa trilha! 😁

Comentei do barulho de água corrente? Não, apenas das gotas, bem, após passar por aquela trilha, adivinhem! Um rio, têm um rio perto de casa e eu não fazia ideia disso! Aqui chamamos carinhosamente de “córrego” e para passarmos tinha uma ponte de madeira, infelizmente agora eu não tirei a foto das madeiras, mas não se preocupem, têm a foto dessa ponte de madeira mais para frente.

Sendo assim, a foto da esquerda é de onde o córrego vêm e para a foto da direita é aonde ele vai, falo assim porque era notável ver a direção da água, com os próprios olhos você consegue constatar a direção do rio, que até peixe tinha, pois dava para ver aquele momento em que eles sobem, dão uma mexida na água e descem de novo.

Após a ponte de madeira e o rio, andamos mais um pouco, por essa trilha na imagem abaixo, parei para tirar uma foto do meu amor andando na frente. É notável que aqui tinha muita coisa, lixo mesmo, o que mostra que algumas pessoas devem vir aqui e infelizmente deixam essa marca negativa.

Depois dessa trilha, comecei a tirar algumas fotos do ambiente, do lugar e meu Deus novamente, que lugar lindo, até as nuvens combinaram com tudo o que meus olhos nerds estavam vendo, os sons de natureza, principalmente os pássaros cantando e o vento, uma sensação de paz imensa! Achei incrível também esse verde tão vivido, tão real e intenso, sensacional!

Mais a frente vi que tinha uma espécie de lago, como não tenho a experiência e a vivência de passar por este lugar, não sei dizer se essa água é apenas porque choveu no dia mais cedo ou se realmente é um lago que fica ali, de qualquer forma, mais um ponto de beleza e muito verde!

Não faço ideia qual seria essa árvore, mas achei ela muito bonita e única naquele espaço em que ela estava, pois era verde e com algumas folhas amarelas, algo que a destacava de longe, então parei e tirei essas duas fotos.

Esse lugar achei bem estranho, um pouco depois da árvore com as folhas amarelas, vi que tinha essa árvore grande, com lixo e tudo mais, mas o que achei mais estranho foi que as folhas, galhos e tudo mais ali na base dela estavam com essa cor marrom e tudo ao seu redor estava verde. Então, o que aconteceu aqui?

Não dará para ver muito bem pelas fotos, mas pelo que me lembro era um destaque estranho, tudo ali ao redor com um verde bem vivido, mas essa parte centrada ali no tronco dela tudo marrom, sem vida, até mesmo um pouco das folhas que estavam atrás dela estavam com essa aparecia. Fiquei muito intrigado com isso, será efeito do lixo? Algum produto químico ou algo assim?

Aqui mais uma árvore bem única, com seus galhos bem retorcidos e um fruto (ou mais frutos, agora não lembro), novamente achei uma coisa bem legal, bem destacada em meio ao ambiente, mostrando que mesmo estando no mesmo lugar, muitas coisas podem ser diferentes. Gosto de pensar isso como as pessoas, mesmo que a humanidade divida o mesmo lugar em vários pontos do mundo, isso não quer dizer que as pessoas serão iguais na sua forma de viver e pensar, apenas porque estão no mesmo lugar.

Aqui foi o limite de onde cheguei, este tempo apenas caminhamos em linha reta, até chegar neste ponto que podemos observar a trilha começa a fazer uma curva, então por aqui já estava bem, já havia feitos muitos registros e tudo mais, não havia necessidade de ir mais para frente nesta trilha.

O destaque é que neste lugar pude tirar uma foto deste morro, onde ficam várias antenas, chamado de “morro do mendanha” e desde que me lembro, sempre teve esse monte de antenas nele. Existem muitas notícias de pessoas que às vezes se aventuram por ali e até mesmo já saiu no jornal uma vez alguns registros de câmeras que pegam em suas filmagens, o registro de uma onça! Muito doido isso!

Tirei também a foto de um bambu, acredito que não é muito normal ver um destes por aqui, mas encontrei este guerreiro solitário no meio desta imensidão verde.

Para fechar essa seção, pensei em fazer algo inusitado, que foi pisar com força na terra para deixar a minha pegada, como uma marca de que estive ali, ficou bem legal na minha opinião. Podemos observar também que meu calçado até mudou de cor por conta da água que tive que pisar para chegar nesta parte da trilha, que mencionei lá no começo da postagem. Estava encharcado e a sensação de meia molhada é horrível! 🤣

Fim da Aventura e Resultado!

Chegando no final desta aventura, se lembram que disse que duas amigas da minha esposa foram conosco? E que foram na frente? Então, agora podemos ter um deslumbre delas. A foto em que elas estão mais longe, é o momento em que elas voltaram com o famoso pedaço de galho que fomos procurar para a minha esposa. Após isso, voltamos um pouco, para perto da ponte do rio para que fossem tiradas as folhas.

Acontece que o galho acabou se partindo, parece que estava meio podre, desgastado e com isso no processo de tirar as folhas, acabou quebrando. Todo mundo ali ficou um pouco apreensivo, mas nada muito grave, afinal era só procurarmos mais um pouco por outro galho que servisse!

Infelizmente não tenho registros do momento em que achamos este outro galho, até porque foi uma boa luta para conseguir pegar este pedaço. Vocês podem observar que a minha esposa está com um facão na mão, pois bem, fui eu que tirou esse galho da árvore, porque ele estava um pouco acima do que conseguíamos alcançar, então bolamos um plano para conseguir pegar ele, no qual eu primeiro pulei algumas vezes e puxei o que conseguia dele, assim a minha esposa e suas amigas seguraram ele para ficar abaixado e com isso, com o facão fiquei batendo ele no galho para sair da árvore.

Após isso, novamente o processo de retirar as folhas. Por favor, não julguem, mas fizemos uma pequena bagunça neste local. 😅

Após retirar as folhas, ficou dessa forma o galho, poderia até ser utilizada como uma árvore-de-natal talvez, mas o planejamento do meu amor para ela é outro! Então esse novo galho com esses pontas era tudo o que ela queria, esse saiu muito melhor do que o que quebrou obviamente. Aqui também podemos notar a ponte de madeira que falei que tinha naquelas fotos do rio, caramba, lembro que deu medo passar por ela, mas tudo certo no final das contas!

Apesar do medo, nada como uma foto da vitória para recordar este momento! Minha esposa que escolheu tirar essa foto na ponte, onde a água do rio estava bem alta, um detalhe que não comentei lá atrás, de qualquer forma, tiramos essas fotos segurando o nosso prêmio que foi essa aventura toda para conseguirmos estes galhos.

Uma aventura e tanto não?

Claro que não poderia deixar vocês na curiosidade do motivo de buscar estes galhos, sendo assim, nas fotos abaixo compartilho com vocês o que a minha esposa: criou uma decoração nos galhos, com essas flores de plástico, ela fez tudo isso manualmente, apenas vendo alguns vídeos nas redes sociais e com isso montou essa beleza, utilizando de sua habilidade com estes trabalhos.

Agora falta apenas comprar um vaso, colocar ele lá dentro e assim deixar na sala principal, onde ela faz as unhas de suas clientes, combinando com toda a reforma que ela fez, mudando algumas cores e detalhes, esse arranjo irá ficar maravilhoso!

Meus amigos, essa é a conclusão dessa aventura na natureza, em busca do galho perfeito para criar essa decoração fantástica! Não sei se algum dia repetirei isso, mas realmente dá uma vontade de fazer isso, desligar do mundo e ir para um lugar que seja assim, natural, verde, com os sons e movimentos que tanto vi e ouvi, se eu tiver uma próxima oportunidade com certeza irei, em busca de novas aventuras!
