[EN/PT-BR] Sunday Reflections: Be careful when sharing your achievements.

I understand very well when something good happens to us and we really want to share it with people, whether they are family, friends or even strangers we meet on Social Networks and this even includes Hive. Wanting to pass on something that happened great is a nice attitude, even if some think that maybe we want to show ourselves too much, I can understand that sometimes we share things just because we are happy or to show that things can work out.

In terms of hive, sometimes I get excited when a post gets an interesting value, I show it to some friends, I put it on X (Former Twitter), on Facebook , I spread it around a few places or talk to my wife about how cool it was that happened, but at the same time, I wonder if it's cool to actually do this . How do people react to this kind of thing? I believe that this reaction can be very varied, being good reactions or even bad ones.

When we add the “value” ingredient, which in this case is financial, things can become more complicated and difficult to understand, after all, we are sharing something because it has a nice value and this shows that all the hard work that we applied it and the sleepless nights have really given a good return, after all, as Content Creators at hive, we seek several points: knowledge, news, friendships , tribes, financial value, spreading our thoughts without fear of censorship, etc. Unfortunately, we know that there is another side too, that of envy and discomfort on the part of other people.

image.pngUnsplash

It is natural for human beings to feel jealous when things happen to other people and not to us, me, you, them, everyone feels this way, I started to change my way of thinking a lot, because sometimes we witness one person or another so much saying that she doesn't have a defect, but yes, she does, we all do. So when you share something on the Internet, it's normal for some to support you and others to hate you and maybe it's even better when those who don't like your work post it out, because in all sincerity, my biggest fear is silent enemies, I think the real danger lies in them.

With all this, the reflection I can pass on to you is that perhaps it's better not to share this publicly, obviously here at Hive everything is public, but I'm talking about doing this on Web 2.0 or in messengers, I think the biggest problem is there, because I feel as if people see my post images getting a good value and instead of them asking what it is or how they can get in to win too, in fact, they simply want you not to succeed. It's scary, they don't even know what a Cryptocurrency or Web 3.0, that your content is rewarded from the first post, but they simply hope that you don't continue on the path to success.

image.pngUnsplash

Finishing my text, I can say that I went through this, discovering some that made me reflect on this, that perhaps it is better to just keep everything good that happens to ourselves or just share it with true friends and family. Whether alone or not, let this desire to grow and evolve come from within, from yourself and be careful when sharing your achievements.

Never brag or share achievements is always a wise move. People can get jealous... human nature I suppose. I no longer do web 2.0 at all, all the old social media accounts are long since closed. For Leo I opened an X account again, but try desperately to never use it.

Great post, I think that's excellent advice!

I still have my web2 accounts, but I'm only using X because of hive, the others I join sometimes and leave, for me these networks have lost their value. We have to be careful with our excitement, when we share what we've achieved, some people really don't seem to like it... complicated.

Thanks for your comment!

You're right.
You just revealed a lot in your blog post. It's unfortunate that instead of people asking how they can become successful on Web 3.0 they become jealous or even envious and wish for the person not to be successful. It could be scary. We all need to be careful when sharing our achievements or even anything about us on social media because the heart of man is wicked. If necessary then we can share with family and true friends.

Thanks for sharing your reflection, dear friend.

I really appreciate the kind words you left here, unfortunately that's how it is, we try to bring people into the hive, so that they have freedom and a different source of income, but even so, they don't even want to try to participate in the hive, but If they see me posting something about a post that got a good price, there is always a bad joke, discouraging words and so on, as people say, they want to see you doing well but never better than you!

Thanks for the comment!

The thing is that, people don't want to put in the work, forgetting that nothing good comes easy. That's right, the only person who is interested in your success in yourself and no one else.

Today's generation is very lazy, I think that's why we have difficulty bringing people into the hive, they want easy money and don't understand the relationship between effort and reward 😂.

A big hug!

It's a good advice, I remember when we just started using sites as FB that youngsters would put every step they took on there and when they were on holiday etc.. not a smart idea.. Best to share after the event if you want to share it at all..!

Exactly, sometimes people who are jealous of what we've achieved hurt us indirectly, with their desire to want what we have, without the hard work we've put in. I've been doing that lately, keeping to myself and achieving everything quietly.

It's sad but true. I never understood people who are openly showing how much money they have in their wallet or these people carrying thousands of dollars or euros and then showing it all in the grocery store to pay for 1 beer or something lol. What's the point? It only attracts the wrong attention imo.

I think that when you're in a great flow and things go your way, people that are in a negative flow my be jealous easier as they want the same. But on the other hand, you can also be the inspirational story they just needed to read. So like with everything, things should be in balance I guess :)

!PIZZA for you!
