I agree about Nectar: ​​going from 2.5x to 3x doubles the added value when a bonus is activated. That was the goal, since before each power increase was so small that nobody noticed the difference.

And yes, they still stack. Pollen increases the chances, Nectar increases the bonus value, and they were made to be used together. The Pine is the best place for them, as it has the best chances and base reward.

But here's the calculation for an Ancient Pine, the best case in the game. A normal watering yields 0.144, with a 10% chance of a 2x bonus. With both increases, the chance of a 3x bonus is 20%. This adds about 0.043 HIVE to the watering on average, and the pair costs 0.20.

On a younger pine, the additional value is even smaller. Therefore, the combination offers a better chance of getting a big hit (0.43 instead of 0.14), but on average, it still costs more than it returns. It's a fun bet, not a way to farm.
