Adobong Bilaog Seashells With Carrots And Potato! 😋

Hope all are safe and well!

Today, I gonna share on how I cooked the Bilaog Seashells that was freshly catched by us. 😀

My brother is the one who boiled the Bilaog Seashells first at the rest house near the seashore. He wash it three times. Put in a pot with tap water and bring it to boil.

When it boiled and the shells opened, he removed it from the fire and put it in a basin.

My brother clean and wash the boiled and cooked Bilaog.

Then, he give it to me cleaned already and ready for me to cook. 😀

Since, I am going to cook the Bilaog meat, I prepared the ingredients I needed for Adobo style.

Ingredients:

  • Bilaog Seashells Meat
  • Carrots (sliced)
  • Potato (sliced)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Garlic (chopped)
  • Tomato (chopped)
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Soy Sauce
  • Vinegar
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Magic Sarap
  • Cooking Oil
  • Water

Procedures:

  • Prepare all the ingredients. Wash, chop or slice the carrots, potato, onion, garlic and tomato.

  • Heat the pan and put one tbsp of cooking oil. Then, saute the onion, garlic and tomato.

  • Add carrots and potato.

  • Add the Bilaog Meat.

  • Add two tbsp soy sauce, two tbsp vinegar and stir. Add a sachet of oyster sauce, magic sarap, ground black pepper and a glass of water.

  • Mix well and let it cook for 5 minutes.

  • When cooked, remove from fire and serve with rice. 😋

That's how I cooked Bilaog Seashells Meat in Adobo style. 😀 We got our viand from the bounty of the sea. 🥰🙏

Mukhang masarap yan ah, I don't know but I think I prefer the soup dish with this type of seashell.

Mas lami adobong Bilaog. 😀 While the other seashell that we call it here pangti-on is much yummier if soup dish. 😀
If ever I can find pangti-on I will share it here too. 😀

Mas lami sis Adobo anang klase na kinason.
Next time if makakita ko kadtong kinason na lami naa sabaw ako pud post diri. Hehe

I've never heard of this one before. Typically, when you speak of adobo, you think of meat either chicken or pork. This looks great though, especially with all these healthy ingredients like carrots and potatoes. Great cooking skills!
