Today I will be featuring the fish nets of my father that he is sewing. My father do sew the fish nets when there are damages or got big holes already that was caused during their fishing.

Actually, we don't have fishing boat now. Because it was a long time ago that our fishing boat were broken. So, my father and brother just do the fishing using the fish nets. They only go fishing during low tide for them to go near the Kabatuan or rocks area. Even it is low tide, besides the Kabatuan is like high tide because it is a very low level. After their fishing session, they will clean the fish nets before they will go home. When they get home, my father will let the fish nets dry first. When it dries, he gonna sew the big holes.

He is using the nylon that is equivalent to the nylon of his fish nets. His sewing materials are the nylon,the sewing needle and the blade for cutting.

The nylon is being rolled over the coca bottle for easier use by my father.

And he gonna put some to the sewing needle.

My father only sew the portion with damages or big holes. When every holes are fix, they gonna use the fish nets again for fishing. 😀

That's the routine of my father when fishing until repairing the fish nets. 😀
