Philippines Election 2022! My Voting Journey! I Am Saddened That The Presidential Candidate I Supported - VP Leni Rodredo Is Not Leading The Presidential Race!

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well!

9 May 2022 was the Philippines Election day. It is the main reason why I am home now. I am exercising my right to vote for the good and right candidates to lead my country.

The voting hours started from 6am to 7pm. Since the voting center is just near from us, I did not go there early. It is just a walking distance from our house. But, my mother and father voted early and finished voting early as well because they are prioritized - the senior citizens.

While I and my cousin went to the voting center together in the afternoon past 3pm. But, before we headed to the elementary school - the voting center in our village, my cousin took picture of me while making a pose at the STOP signage of the COMELEC.

Then, we headed to the school - the voting center.

Upon entering the school, there are officer in charge that will spray alcohol in our hands and have a temperature check. There are also barangay tanod that are in- charge of maintaining peace and order at the voting center.

Along the covered walk, the Voter's Assistance Desk was there to assist voters to get the precinct number and the sequence number.

When the precinct number and sequence number was given to us, we waited patiently to fall in line.

For more than an hour in line, we were able to make it to the precinct voting center. I stop taking photos when I am getting nearer inside the voting room.

It only takes me more than an hour in line and finished voting.

My cousins and I had our pictures fronting the school after casting our votes.

I am saddened that the presidential candidate I voted is not leading the presidential race.

I am hoping and praying for the best for my country! 🙏🙏🙏

By the way, I was busy the past days when I arrived home. That's the reason why I am not around here. I will be sharing the happenings here while I am at home the next few days and will be right back.
