Una de mis regiones favoritas de League of Legends es la Ciudad Bandle por el simple hecho de que los yordles me dan una inexplicable ternura. La mayoría de personajes que maineo, no pertenecen específicamente allí, pero son Yordles de igual manera.

El diseño de personaje de Vex me llamó la atención, visual y conceptualmente, desde el primer momento en que se anunció. Me encanta su set de habilidades y todas sus interacciones con su amigo sombra, que aunque ella no lo deje ver, en lo más profundo de su amargado corazoncito yo creo que le tiene mucho aprecio.

Mis amigos estuvieron constantemente recordándome que me parezco un montón a ella por varios meses luego de su salida. Vex está fatigada, obstinada de la vida, y no hace más que quejarse de todo. Si bien no es algo de que alardear, tampoco es algo que pase desapercibido, pues hasta compartimos color de cabello.

Pero no todo es tan malo, gracias a eso decidieron darme una skin de regalo.

One of my favorite regions in League of Legends is Bandle City just because just because I find yordles completely adorable. Most of the characters I use, don't specifically belong there, but they are still Yordles.

Vex's character design caught my eye, visually and conceptually, from the first moment it was announced. I love her skill set and all her interactions with her shadow friend, who deep down in her bitter little dark heart, she really loves him.

My friends were constantly reminding me that I look a lot like her for several months since she was put into the game. Vex is tired, stubborn about life, and complains about everything. While it's not something to brag about, it's not something that goes unnoticed either, as we even share hair color.

But not everything is so bad, due to that they decided to give me a skin as a gift.

Proceso 🌱 Process

La mayor parte del tiempo tomo algún par de referencias para inspirarme. En este caso tomé un poco del arte conceptual perteneciente al juego y lo adapté un poco a mi estilo. Utilicé una hoja de papel de mi libreta, y un par de lápices de diferente tonalidad. Iré adjuntando fotos del proceso.
Most of the time I take a couple of references for inspiration. In this case I took some of the concept art of to the game and adapted it a little bit to my style. I used a sheet of paper from my notebook, and a couple of different pencils. I'll be attaching photos of the process.

Terminé utilizando lápices B, 3B para Vex y 5B como el más oscuro para la sombra.
I ended up using B pencils, 2B for Vex and 5B as the darkest for the shadow.

Iluminación en Paint Tool Sai / Lighting in Paint Tool Sai

Utilicé el aereografo en el programa Paint Tool Sai para agregar pequeñas iluminaciones, brillos y detalles.
I used the aereograph in the Paint Tool Sai program to add small illuminations, glows and details.
