Throwbacks in time. Remembering how all started. My first drawings haul. [ESP/ENG]
Como he comentado desde mi presentación en la plataforma, dibujar es mi actividad favorita y mi pasión más grande desde que tengo uso de razón. Me ha acompañado en diversidad de etapas de mi vida, y me ha dado refugio como nada ni nadie lo ha hecho.
Me ayuda a expresar lo que no puedo decir con palabras, lo que siento y nadie escucha. Me ayuda a enfocar mi mente, a distraerme, a despejarme. Me ayuda a crear cosas que imagino, y que me encantaría que tuvieran vida. Me sumerjo en la aventura de adentrarme en historias existentes creando mis propios personajes. Y hasta me ayuda a concentrarme, dado que suelo dibujar mientras escucho mis clases.
En mi presentación, ya hace más de un año, también comenté como inició mi afición con Dragon Ball, pero para aquellos que no sepan, les refrescaré un poco.
As I have said since my presentation on the platform, drawing is my favorite activity and my greatest passion since I can remember. It has accompanied me in various stages of my life, and has given me refuge like nothing and no one else has done.
It helps me to express what I can't say in words, what I feel and no one listens. It helps me to focus my mind, to distract me, to clear my head. It helps me to create things that I imagine, and that I would love to bring to life. I immerse myself in the adventure of delving into existing stories by creating my own characters. And it even helps me concentrate, since I often draw while listening to my classes.
In my presentation, already more than a year ago, I also told you how I started my hobby with Dragon Ball, but for those who don't know, I'll refresh you a little bit.
Cuando era pequeña mi mamá me llevó a aquellos puestos donde vendían discos quemados, y yo escogí una película de scooby-Doo. Al llegar a casa y probar el disco descubrimos que no era la película que esperaba, sino una temporada de Dragon Ball Z, serie con la que me obsesionaría por los subsiguientes años.
Al empezar a dibujar, uno suele verse inspirado por aquellas cosas que nos gustan, y tendemos a realizar ilustraciones de nuestras series o personajes favoritos.
También a calquear, dibujar ilustraciones o escenas preexistentes, y todos estos son actividades y escenarios de práctica.
A mi sin duda me encantaba realizar ilustraciones de dragon ball.
When I was little my mom took me to those stalls where they sold burned discs, and I chose a Scooby-Doo movie. When we got home and tried the disc we discovered that it wasn't the movie I was expecting, but a season of Dragon Ball Z, a series I would become obsessed with for years to come.
When we start drawing, we tend to be inspired by the things we like, and we tend to make illustrations of our favorite series or characters.
We also tend to trace, draw illustrations or pre-existing scenes, and these are all practice activities and scenarios.
I certainly loved doing dragon ball illustrations.
A pesar de que dibujo desde muy pequeña edad, no tengo un registro de absolutamente todo el contenido que he realizado, pero desde que estoy en primaria empecé a resguardar un poco mis trabajos que no solo se limitaban a dibujitos de dragon ball, me gustaba Sailor Moon, Death Note, Hetalia, y cualquier otra serie de anime que captara mi atención.
Although I've been drawing since I was very young, I don't have a record of absolutely all the content I've done, but since I'm in elementary school I started to keep a little bit of my works that were not only limited to dragon ball drawings, I liked Sailor Moon, Death Note, Hetalia, and any other anime series that caught my attention
Una de las cosas que me obsesioraría posteriormente sería el videojuego otome llamado Corazón de Melón, cosa que a día de hoy me sigue gustando y recientemente he estado jugandolo nuevamente.
One of the things I would later become obsessed with would be the otome video game called Melon Heart, which I still like to this day and have recently been playing it again.
Tener un registro gráfico de nuestros procesos artísticos nos permite observar nuestro desarrollo y evolución, y tener un respaldo de cómo llegamos a ello. Analizar, rectificar e identificar los fallos que tenemos para mejorarlos a futuro.
Guardar nuestras ilustraciones elaboradas a futuro nos ayudará a rectificar. Todo el proceso que hemos atravesado para llegar al punto en donde nos encontramos partiendo desde el inicio.
Having a graphic record of our artistic processes allows us to observe our development and evolution, and to have a backup of how we got there. Analyze, rectify and identify the failures we have to improve them in the future.
Saving our future illustrations will help us to rectify. All the process that we have gone through to get to the point where we are starting from the beginning.
Guardar bocetos y dibujos que no culminamos nos podrían funcionar como futuras inspiraciones, quizás tomemos la iniciativa de culminarlos o quién sabe si le damos una nueva reinterpretación.
Suele ser una actividad interesante tomar ilustraciones antiguas y redibujarlas en el estilo manejamos ahora o simplemente para observar, analizar y probar que cosas realizaremos diferente con nuestros conocimientos actuales, como yo realicé hace un par de días un redraw, y conte la anecdota tras ello.
Saving sketches and drawings that we do not finish could work as future inspirations, maybe we take the initiative to finish them or who knows if we give a new reinterpretation.
It is often an interesting activity to take old illustrations and redraw them in the style we handle now or simply to observe, analyze and test what things we will do differently with our current knowledge, as I did a couple of days ago a redraw, and I count the anecdote behind it.
Además suele ser importante almacenar nuestros bocetos de estudio para evaluarlos con el tiempo. Aprender además no suele ser solamente un proceso práctico, sino también de visualización. Así como aprendemos de otros trabajos podemos aprender de nosotros mismos, rectificando, corrigiendo y apreciando nuestros aciertos en un procesos de autocrítica y autorreflexión
Cada trabajo que realizamos, cada hora que invertimos en nuestras ilustraciones, son esfuerzos preciados e importantes que debemos tomar en cuenta, y al final del día el cúmulo de memorias y recuerdos que trae consigo abrir un sketchbook y recordar lo que te llevó a realizar eso, y todo el camino que es recorrido, es indiscutiblemente satisfactorio.
It is also often important to store our study sketches to evaluate them over time. Learning is often not only a practical process, but also a visualization process. Just as we learn from other works, we can learn from ourselves, rectifying, correcting and appreciating our successes in a process of self-criticism and self-reflection.
Every job we do, every hour we invest in our illustrations, are precious and important efforts that we must take into account, and at the end of the day the accumulation of memories and recollections that comes with opening a sketchbook and remembering what led you to do that, and all the road that is traveled, is undeniably satisfying.

Me gusta bastante que sean trazos a lapiz y color solido
Esta bastante detallado los personajes con sombra.
En lo personal me da un miedo rayar con carboncillo la hoja con el diseño por temor a dañar el arte y que quede una mancha.
Mi unica recomendación es que escanees los dibujos fisicos
los salva guardes como mensaje privado por telegram para ti misma
y asi poderlos tener de una forma rapida sin que se extravien.

Jeje si, manejar el lápiz es un arte, lo más idoneo es tener la respectiva borrona y el limpiatipos para las manchas. Supieras que ahorita estoy muy malacostrumbrada a las herramientas digitales, pero bueno. Tengo bastantes dibujos almacenados digitalmente, pero estos son tan viejos que en esos momentos ni telefono tenia jaja.

It's really interesting how many people start drawing Dragon Ball characters when they enter art. So many professionals these days will say one of the best resources for learning really was just drawing their favourite anime characters.
Yes, it is quite special. I remember that at that time many of my classmates also liked to do Dragon Ball illustrations, it is one of the first incentives drawing your favorite characters

Para muchos nuestro inicio en el arte viene por distintos medios, pero algo en común es la pasión y el refugio que nos representa. Además de ser tu pasión más grande, ¿Piensas también dedicarte al arte?
Me alegra que te hayas identificado, se que todo viene de distintos medios, pero la pasión y el sentimiento por dibujar y mejorar es el mismo a final del día.
Me encantaría dedicarme a ello, en cierta parte intento mezclar mis trabajos de arquitectura con un aspecto más artístico y plástico, y adoro realmente ambas cosas 😊

Hablas con mucho cariño y pasión de tus comienzos como artista gráfico, eso es bonito, sirve de mucho regresar algunas veces a nuestros inicios y reconocer rasgos que permanecen con el tiempo. Dibujar es, definitivamente , un buen escape, un espacio seguro al que recurrir en búsqueda de tranquilidad. Aunque me sorprendió mucho leer que te ayuda a concentrarte, yo siempre pensé que las personas que dibujaban en clase estaban distraídas todo el tiempo, absortas en sus trazos, pero leyendo lo que dices al respecto, comienzo a dudar de muchos recuerdos jeje.
Que cuchis tus primeros dibujos, me traen muchos recuerdos 💖
