Developing New Journaling Grooves In My Brain

I may not have been actively posting inside of the NaJoPoMo community, but I can say, I've posted a few journal entries into my journal. Which is a big win for me. I am beginning to develop a liking for journaling. Which is a far cry from where I was last year.

Here are why I think this year's challenge was different.

1. Last year I worked through the resistance I had to journaling when I shared the stories and photos behind each of the journals I own.
2. This year I have a dedicated journaling space.
3. I went all in with the calligraphy pens and colored inks. Which had added an entirely new fun element to the mix.

Am I journaling daily? Nope. I only have a few posts in my journal, yet they were highly satisfying to write. This is why I think this was my journaling breakthrough year.
