HOW FAR I HAVE GONE WITH MY YAM FARM ☘️☘️

Hello fellow homesteaders, I hope we're enjoying our homesteading experiences. For me I'll say it has been a wonderful practising subsistence type of agriculture or farming as it has helped me, my family and friends in so many ways and even safe us from unnecessary spending as we have things we could have bought in the market right inside our farm. The farm has really being helpful and I can't metion all.

The last time here, I shared the harvest I did in my cassava farm, which was a very happy time for me, harvest time means happy time, the cassava has been processed and now we're enjoying the end result.
Today I'll be sharing with us my other farm which is my yam farm, very soon some farmers will be harvesting and celebrating the new yam though mine will still take longer probably around September or October before I harvest, which of course I'll share with you guys God willing.

A yam farm needs proper clearing and monitoring from time to time, and that's what have been doing but it's not easy at all if you'll ask me.
Kudos to my students who have been very helpful since the beginning of everything, from the time where we need to choose the suitable farm for farming to the time of clearing the bush, till the time of making heaps, this time I even thought they will charge me because the last time I used hausa farmer's the bill was too much but then my students did everything for free, though I just compensate them with a token, the only thing I bought was the yam I planted.

Few weeks back they also assist me in cutting trees in between the heaps so the yam leaves can have something to rest on and by so doing it'll germinate well. Also I'll be spraying super Gro organic liquid fertilizer probably tomorrow or next depends on when I'll be free so that everything can go as they ought to and have a better result this time around.
