#CONTEST 81 MY FAVORITE VEGETABLE DISH

Vegetable is one of the most important source of vitamin which is essential for maintenance and longevity of the human body system. Which makes it a necessity in our everyday meal. To enjoy fresh veggies, there is need to have a garden for it.
As for me, if I decide to have a garden ,I would grow potatoes; both sweet and Irish potatoes

. There's virtually no food I can't add potato to. But the favorite dish I use it to prepare is potato pepper soup 😋.
Potato pepper soup is an hearty comfort food very popular in West Africa because of its medicinal properties. It is good to arouse appetite and for treatment of chest pain, headache, cold and body aches.
RECIPE
5 MEDIUM IRISH POTATOES
300g FRESH FISH
10 MEDIUM MUSHROOMS
1 RED ONION
2 HABENERO PEPPER
1 TEASPOON GROUND EHU ( CALABASH NUTMEG)
1BIG STOCK CUBE
BLACK PEPPER
5 SCENT LEAVES
SALT
WATER
PREPARATION

  1. Pour a small quantity of water into a clean pot and set on the stove on medium heat.
  2. Add the ground ehu, black pepper and stock cube. Stir and place the pieces of fish in the pot.
  3. When the fish is all heated, remove from the pot and add potatoes.
  4. Increase the heat of the stove until the potatoes are well cooked. After, add the mushrooms and cook for two minutes.
  5. Add the fish, the onions and HABENERO pepper and cook for another two minutes.
    6 Then your potato pepper soup is ready.
