As soon as I set foot in the raw market in the morning, the hustle and bustle around me and the smell of fresh vegetables and fish made me feel good. Suddenly, my eyes were caught by the crowd of large Rui Katla or shiny Hilsa. At a local vendor sitting in a corner, a few fresh fish squirming in the aluminum container in front of him. I fell in love with the fish's dark green-black stripes and shiny scales at first glance, just like you can see in the picture I shared. The joy of bargaining and buying Buying fish in our Bengali market means a bit of a bargain! Even if the seller wanted to increase the price a little, I didn't want to miss out on the fresh fish.
