Juki Fat Lock Machine, an essential tool in the garment industry.

Assalamu Alaikum. I work in the garment sector and regularly try to give you an idea of the various details and necessary machines in my workplace. Today I will introduce you to one such important and state of the art machine, which has brought revolutionary changes in the production of modern clothes. This is the Fat Lock Machine

The role of this machine in increasing the finishing and durability of clothes is undeniable. In the pictures, you can see a Juki brand Fat Lock machine. The entire body of the machine, the needle bar and the complex threading system are clearly visible in the first picture. It is basically a chain stitch machine, which is specially designed for knitwear or stretchable fabrics.

The biggest feature of the Fat Lock machine is its sewing method. It joins two parts of the fabric without lifting them on top of each other, but keeping them side by side. As a result, the stitch remains flat and does not cause any discomfort to the skin. For this reason, it is indispensable in making comfortable clothes like T-shirts, undergarments, sportswear and innerwear. If you look at the pictures, you will see that it has a system for using multiple thread reels, which creates very strong and attractive chain stitches.

The second picture is of the control panel or digital control box of this machine. Various parameters including machine speed control are set through this box of the JUKI CP-18 model. Here, 49 is shown on the display, which may indicate the current sewing speed of the machine or any other program. The operator can easily control the functioning of the machine with the various buttons on the side.

In the third picture, a warning and operating instructions sticker is given on the machine. This is very important. It shows a triangular warning and hand sign that the hands should be kept away from the moving parts of the machine while it is running. In addition, oiling instructions and threading rules are explained through pictures. This performance lasts long if proper maintenance and operating rules are followed.
