Sweet yogurt from a clay pot.

We all love to eat sweets. And if that sweet is pure sweet curd from an earthen pot, then it's no wonder! On a busy afternoon, I suddenly felt like eating some cold sweet curd. As expected, I took the bike and headed to the local sweet shop. As soon as I reached the shop, my eyes fell on the glass showroom. Just like the one in the picture. The rows of clay pots wrapped in plastic were beautifully arranged. The light brown, burnt latex coating on top was mouthwatering. When the shopkeeper took a cold pot out of the fridge and placed it in front of me, I felt half satisfied. The sweet smell of earth and the aroma of yogurt instantly took me back to my childhood days at my uncle's house. Not only did I buy yogurt, but the sincerity of the store employees touched my heart. Praveen stood next to a customer and told a story about the quality of yogurt. He was saying that although yogurt is available in plastic cups these days, yogurt from an earthen pot tastes different.

When I put the first spoonful of yogurt in my mouth, in tune with his words, it really struck me how easily some traditional flavors can give us ultimate peace, even in this digital age. The food tasted wonderful. But the most beautiful thing was the atmosphere. The sound of tea cups clinking around, the light chatter of people, and the cool feeling of the clay pot in my hand all made the afternoon's fatigue disappear in an instant. These small experiences at local shops remind us that sometimes it's the little moments like these that bring us more joy than the big achievements in life. As I returned home with a pot of yogurt and a piece of happiness, a strange feeling of welling up inside me.
