This is a new idea to me. I know most communities go after large creators thinking of instant huge transfer of users. But those creators have a lot to lose also on the web 2 platform, so it is not in their interst to advertise their presence here unless it can be managed discretely, and the minute that is not possible they will pull out.

I think it is smart to go after the smaller creators with smaller audiences and agree with the reasons you have given. They will potentially be able to monetize very fast here, and another angle to consider adding to your pitch deck is that the tokenization model here enables them to reward their follwers on web 2.0 for making the move here without costing them any money.
