St. Martin and Trawler Excursions

For a long time I wanted to go to Coconut Jinjira by trawler in off season. Although there were many people at the time of planning, at the end the number of people decreased proportionally. That's what happened during my tour.

I left for Teknaf by Shyamoli bus on Saturday night. Reached Ukhia at 7 am Our ticket was till Teknaf but the counter guy mistakenly gave us ticket in Ukhia car. Later, when the supervisor said that the bus will not run after that, after showing the ticket, he himself took us to the local bus.

Reached Teknaf bus stand around 10 o'clock From there I went to Trawler Ghat by auto rickshaw. There were many groups that day. I paid 220 tk and went to the market to have breakfast.

Due to the low tide, the trawler starts its journey after 11.30. I have seen in many posts that I am afraid of the rough waves of the sea when I go to the trawler. I am eating less in the morning due to this fear. But today as the sea is calm, I did not feel any kind of roller coaster 😭. The sea is now calm like a river

Blue water all around, blue water everywhere you look. Luckily I saw a dolphin, although I'm not sure if it's a dolphin!!!! But according to those who were locals, this was Dolphin !

Reached the jetty by 2pm and had a meal.
The room was already booked at the resort. Dream night at the resort This resort is located on West Beach.

. Fortunately, I got 3 brothers from Bogra, although Niaz Morshed bhai had already confused the question whether Noman bhai is there...we are all from Bogra in the whole resort. A different thing.

I went into a house next to the resort and said hello. I was very friendly with a little boy, there are a lot of daub trees in his house. I said, I will eat dub if you give me dub from the tree. I bought dub for 25 rupees and left 10 more in the room.
According to Picchi, I liked her, so Kochi is selling the dub. This dub season is reserved for him..Now if anyone wants to dub him Coconut Waka.

Sitting on the resort's hammock and swinging, it was evening. The evening sky was even more beautiful.

At 7 o'clock in the evening, we all went to the bazaar. We rented a bicycle for 20 taka. The Singara of a fry shop at the corner of the market is a lot of test I bought chicken for dinner and left for the resort by bicycle.

Big brothers had a treat at night. Hyder Bhai is the manager of the resort. In the night cooking, a huge amount of jhal was given so that none of us could eat🤣🤣.

After eating, we all sat and chatted. Noman Bhai had a request to show me a picture with the Milky Way. We were lucky that day the sky was full of him and the Milky Way. The sight of the stars falling from the sky was memorable. Noman Bhai has good knowledge about astrology.

We wandered around the whole island along the west beach till 3 o'clock in the evening. However, Payal bhai got scared and went to the room. At the end of West Beach, 6 dead bodies were found near Humayun Sir's resort a few days ago. Fearing this, Payal Bhai did not let us go.

Then I fell asleep in the hammock this night. I woke up in the morning and opened my eyes to see the huge roar of the sea.
The Noman brothers seemed very lonely to leave today. I went to the market around 10 o'clock in the morning, rented a bicycle and walked around the beach in the hot sun. I wanted to go to Chheradeep. But the heat of the sun no longer wanted. I came back It's sunny in Saint Martin. So it is better to take full sleeve clothes.

I wandered all day, had lunch at the market and went to the resort. I spent the evening swinging on the resort's hammock. I did not go to Chheradwip today because of the strong sun. I will return to Dhaka tomorrow morning. So I planned to go to Chheradeep in the morning.
I walked along the beach at night... Two more groups came up. I can say that I was fed up with their activities. Do they come to Saint Martin to listen to music with bluetooth speakers? I don't understand if you come to feel solitude in Saint Martin. The beach is very clean. A few days ago TOB brothers took away 555 kg of plastic bags. Even after that we are polluting this island every day.

Saint Martin at night is a little different. Silence all around and the sound of water splashing on the sea shore. As the resort is quite far from the market, it is boring to go to the market. However, due to the ban on fishing, I could not make any barbecue with fish. moaning
Food package systems in the market. Chicken, fish, egg this system. They also said that the reason for keeping food prices high is that they have to bring everything from Teknaf. Except fish and fish, they have to bring everything from Teknaf.

We eat and drink at the resort. Because the water is salty, there is pressure on the can. 🤣

The next morning at 5.30 am, I started walking along the west beach for Cheradweep. The plan was to go to Cheradweep on foot. At 5.30 am a dog went to Chheradwip with us. The whole road went with us. I saw the whole of Saint Martin on foot.

A family lives near Chheradeep. They sell dabs, lunch. I am very jealous of them. They live alone on a deserted island. No fear, what a life.

Chheradeep is another beautiful place. Corals and corals all around. The whole St. Martin's tie is actually full of corals. It is the only coral island in Bangladesh. I wanted to collect plastic bottles in Chheradeep but I could not go the previous afternoon due to lack of time today. I am sincerely sorry Niaz Morshed brother. 😥

After walking for 4.30 hours, I reached the resort again, along with that dog. On the way to the resort, I missed the trawler at around 10 o'clock. I had to stay another day.

That day I spent the whole day sleeping. And Raihan Bhai went to the jetty to fish alone. His fish didn't reach his head anymore. My brother tried to fish at the jetty till 11 o'clock at night, but even after fishing once, he did not catch it.

I woke up early the next morning. I told to cook khichuri the night before. Breakfast with khichuri and eggs in the morning sitting by the sea. Oh!! Peace. Filled Khichuri with just 80 taka.

I went to the market in the morning and chatted with member Habib Bhai for a long time. He seems to be an incredibly good person in conversation Accepting the invitation for tea, we had tea and chat together. Brother discussed various issues with us. There is no doctor in Saint Martin. There are doctors in the name they don't live here. No secretary/minister actually comes the day before and leaves when the minister/MP leaves. They are neglected by doctors and medical services.

After saying goodbye to Habib Bhai, I boarded the trawler and left for Teknaf. Even today the sea is calm but the sun is hot. My skin is burnt in the sun.
I didn't want to leave. I thought I would stay on this island for a few more days, months. There is no fuss, no recoil

I reached Teknaf at 1 pm. I went to Cox's Bazar through Marine Drive with CNG. If you don't go to Cox's Bazar, the tour will be incomplete for me.

St. Martin's season ahead. Many tourists will visit, please be aware of plastic. The island is our wealth So it is our responsibility to keep it clean.
