QUE UN SIMPLE “NO” NO TE DETENGA [ESP-ENG]
En muchas ocasiones debes aprender a ser constante para poder darle crecimiento a esas pequeñas ideas que con el tiempo y dedicación se convierten en grandes proyectos, que un simple “no”, no te detenga en tu caminar, acompáñame a conocer esta hermosa historia de emprendimiento.
Desde muy joven me he acostumbrado a ser una persona trabajadora y luchadora por lo que quiero en la vida, mientras estudiaba comunicación social en la Universidad de Columbia, recuerdo que laboraba como mesera en uno de los restaurantes de la larga cadena de “Noma”, gracias a este trabajo pude cubrir mis gasto universitario y luego que me gradué conté con la bendición de encontrar un buen trabajo en mi área de formación como presentadora matutina en un canal de televisión.
Tiempo después conocí a Anthony, él es el gran amor de mi vida quien ha sido para mí más que un esposo mi mejor complemento y me ha apoyado a lo largo de mis decisiones. En este canal de televisión, estuve trabajando por 10 largos años todo marchaba de maravilla hasta que salió a reducir mi más oscuro secreto, estaba padeciendo de una grave enfermedad de la piel que con el tiempo se fue intensificando a tal punto que comenzó a ser visible para los productores del canal y fue durante una presentación matutina en vivo, cuando uno de los productores me envió a un corte comercial repentino para decirme que debía quitarme esa mancha rosada que tenía en mi rostro.
Por más maquillaje que me colocara ya no podía seguir ocultando que padecía de rosácea, una enfermedad que produce grandes mancha en la piel de color rosado intenso, los cuales no podía seguir ocultando con los cosméticos, por lo que sin mediar mayor número de palabras quede sin empleo, ya que ellos argumentaron que esa afección de mi piel era un impedimento estético para que yo continuara siendo el rostro del programa. Sin saberlo esto sería el inicio de mis pruebas de supervivencia social.
Como todas las experiencias fuertes no llegan solas, cuando llego a mi casa me encuentro con la noticia que mi esposo había quedado desempleado y no contábamos con mayor solvencia económica, fue allí donde caí en un estado de depresión fuerte, pero al mismo tiempo reaccione y busque mi mejor refugio la biblia, y justamente fue este magnífico manual de instrucciones quien me dio el aliento necesario para combatir mis problemas.
Por más intentos que hice por buscar trabajo en mi profesión siempre la respuesta era la misma un rotundo “no”, solo les bastaba con ver en mi rostro las grandes y pronunciadas manchas rojas que había en él, las cuales no podía seguir disimulando con ningún tipo de maquillaje, por varios momento llegue a sentirme deprimida y con poca valoración de mi misma.
Pero un día mientras lloraba en mi habitación escuche una voz que me indicaba que debía buscar yo misma la solución a mi problema cutáneo y fue allí cuando salí de mi cuarto y le dije a mi esposo que debíamos iniciar por desarrollar nuestra propia empresa de elaboración de maquillaje para personas que padecían esta misma enfermedad (rosácea) y fue así como desde la sala de mi casa comenzamos con la parte de ensayo y experimentos para la elaboración de estos cosmético.
Como todo gran comienzo no fue nada fácil, no teníamos absolutamente nada de material y el dinero era bastante escaso, pero nos sobraba la voluntad e intencionalidad para persistir a la elaboración del producto, lo cual fue más que suficiente para obtener resultados positivos, debido a que lo logramos hacer y de una manera muy efectiva de hecho quien más para probarlo que yo misma que padecía esta afección cutánea.
Ahora venía un nuevo reto el comenzar con el marketing para lograr una buena promoción y venta del producto, salimos a las calles a proponerlo y no vendimos ninguna crema, llegábamos cansados a la casa y sin tener algún éxito, luego de pensar en diferentes estrategia mi esposo en una de esas salidas para intentar vender las cremas en la calle compro un libro muy básico de ¿cómo crear una página web en internet?, ya que non teníamos ningún conocimiento previo para ello.
Prontamente a través del escrudiño del libro creamos dicha página y solo nos quedaba esperar a obtener algún resultado, así pasaron semanas y no sucedía ningún cambio ni en la calle ni en la página de web, me comenzó a invadir la desesperación y comenzaron las diferencia entre pareja, debido a que yo culpaba a mi esposo por no haber hecho un buen trabajo con la página web y que era esa la causa de que no se vendieran nuestras cremas.
Un día cuando llego a casa luego de un largo y ajetreado día de intentos fallidos de ventas me encuentro con la grata noticia que había logrado vender una de mis cremas por medio de esta página, no les puedo negar que estaba muy emocionada estaba segura que esta iba a ser la primera de muchas que iría a vender. Cuando de repente mi esposo rompe mis ilusiones diciendo que él había sido quien había comprado mi producto, al principio me enoje mucho con él, pero cuando me explico sus razones me tranquilice.
El solo había realizado la compra para demostrarme a mí que la página que había creado si funcionaba y que por lo tanto debíamos buscar nuevas estrategias de promoción, ya que las que estábamos empleando no nos estaban funcionado en lo absoluto.
Por lo que me fui nuevamente a mi habitación a solas a continuar nutriendo mi vida a través de la biblia y en ella encontré un pasaje muy interesante que me motivo a salir y esta vez llegar a las diferentes empresas de cosméticos a fin de que probaran el producto y pudiesen interesarse en él.
Por lo que me levante muy temprano con buena actitud y mucha confianza de que este iba a ser un buen día, no sé si en alguna ocasión les ha pasado algo similar en el cual sientes que todo lo que vas hacer hoy les va a salir de maravillas.

Some time later I met Anthony, he is the great love of my life, who has been for me more than a husband my best complement and has supported me throughout my decisions. In this TV channel, I was working for 10 long years everything was going great until my darkest secret came out, I was suffering from a serious skin disease that over time was intensifying to the point that it began to be visible to the producers of the channel and it was during a live morning presentation, when one of the producers sent me to a sudden commercial break to tell me that I had to remove that pink spot on my face.
No matter how much makeup I put on, I could no longer hide the fact that I suffered from rosacea, a disease that produces large, intense pink spots on the skin, which I could no longer hide with cosmetics, so without further words I was unemployed, since they argued that my skin condition was an aesthetic impediment for me to continue being the face of the program. Without knowing it, this would be the beginning of my social survival tests.
As all strong experiences do not come alone, when I arrived home I found the news that my husband had become unemployed and we did not have more economic solvency, it was there where I fell into a state of depression strong, but at the same time I reacted and sought my best refuge the Bible, and it was precisely this magnificent instruction manual who gave me the encouragement needed to combat my problems.
No matter how many attempts I made to look for a job in my profession, the answer was always the same, a resounding "no" it was enough to see the large and pronounced red spots on my face, which I could no longer hide with any kind of makeup, for several moments I came to feel depressed and with little appreciation of myself.
But one day while I was crying in my room I heard a voice telling me that I had to look for the solution to my skin problem myself and it was then when I left my room and told my husband that we should start by developing our own company to make makeup for people suffering from this same disease (rosacea) and that was how from the living room of my house we started with the part of testing and experiments for the development of these cosmetics.
As every great beginning was not easy, we had absolutely no material and money was quite scarce, but we had enough will and intentionality to persist in the development of the product, which was more than enough to obtain positive results, because we managed to do it and in a very effective way, in fact who else to test it than myself who suffered from this skin condition.
Now came a new challenge to start with the marketing to achieve a good promotion and sale of the product, we went out to the streets to propose it and we did not sell any cream, we arrived home tired and without any success, after thinking of different strategies my husband in one of those outings to try to sell the creams on the street bought a very basic book on how to create a website on the internet, since we had no prior knowledge for it.
Promptly through the scrutiny of the book we created this page and we only had to wait to get some results, so weeks passed and no change happened neither in the street nor on the website, I began to invade the despair and began the differences between the couple, because I blamed my husband for not having done a good job with the website and that was the cause of not selling our creams.
One day when I got home after a long and busy day of failed sales attempts I found the pleasant news that I had managed to sell one of my creams through this page, I can not deny that I was very excited I was sure that this was going to be the first of many that I would go to sell. When suddenly my husband breaks my illusions saying that he had been the one who had bought my product, at first I was very excited and I was sure that this was going to be the first one I would sell.
He had only made the purchase to prove to me that the page he had created was working and therefore we should look for new promotional strategies, since the ones we were using were not working at all.
So I went back to my room alone to continue nourishing my life through the bible and in it I found a very interesting passage that motivated me to go out and this time to reach the different cosmetic companies so that they could try the product and be interested in it.
So I got up very early with a good attitude and a lot of confidence that this was going to be a good day, I don't know if you have ever had a similar situation in which you feel that everything you are going to do today is going to be great.

Oh, Dios mío, esto es realmente patético, pero me alegro de que se te haya ocurrido una idea inteligente para ganar dinero. El caso es que ¿has probado la crema en ti mismo y ha funcionado? Si es así podrías usar tus fotos del antes y el después publicándolas en la página que creaste y verás como la gente entra a comprobarlo. No puedo esperar a leer el resto de la historia.

Esta es una enfermedad muy ruda, y fuerte en todos los sentidos propios de la palabra. La protagonista tiene una vida admirable, trabajó, estudio, y laboro en un canal de TV, pero un mal juego de la vida le llevó a perder todo. Me gustó, la forma de visualización del emprendimiento es muy atractiva.
Hola @neruel, la situación de esta joven mujer es parte de la realidad que vivimos muchas mujeres actualmente en el país, pero lo realmente importante es que ella decidió emprender su propia linea de cosmético y esperemos a ver cual sera su desenlace.
