Good eats, good laughs, great time….
Morning everyone…
Life in the fast lane….
Sleep in not much of an option here, there is too much going on. Most of us started off the day with a killer gourmet breakfast from @summertooth. Who knocked it out of the park with a corned beef hash and eggs.
Our only true plans for this day were the group dinner and comedy club. Which gave us tons of time to freelance. We all ended up meeting at the Luxor for some gambling. Some played craps, some roulette, a little blackjack…..
A few of us made some sports book wagers before we left.
Our group dinner was a 6:30 reservation at Smith & Wollensky. Which is a fantastic steakhouse. I can assure you that you will be seeing plenty of photos from here from the group.
Every piece of meet they serve is aged in house for a minimum of 28 days. Let’s just say everyone had a terrific dinner, drinks and desserts.
We then took a brief after dinner stroll over to Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club for our 9:30 show.
We hit a rooftop bar afterwards and headed in all different directions.

Looks like you are having a great time! That steak looks pretty fantastic. I was supposed to get one last night, but things ended up not working out.

The crème Brulé is a shallow dish, which is unusual! Is that crème Brulé?

That was a 28 oz steak. I had a Caesar salad prior. That creme brûlée was over 2” deep.

STOP28 days of maturation of the meat, this gives it a different flavor, I have eaten matured meat, but to be honest I did NOT like it, maybe my taste buds are not used to flavors like that, but the dessert, I DO love it, my taste buds accept it and it does NOT bother me hahahaha.

Dry aged meat is so tender and flavorful, you don’t even need a knife.
That meal was amazing. I am so glad I ordered the pea soup. It was one of the best I have ever had.
