Great find at a great price….

Afternoon everyone…

All of you that frequently read my posts, know that I started a stackers Christmas tree this year. I bought a four foot pre lit artificial Christmas tree. The only ornaments allowed on this tree are one ounce silver rounds. I purchased Air-Tite brand capsules that not only have a loop on them for a hook, then have foam colored inserts as well. So I bought ten of each of the following colors red, green, blue and white. All very appropriate Christmas colors.

When I put the tree up this year. I only had sixteen one ounce Christmas rounds for it. With a few purchases and a couple gifts. I managed to get that total number up to twenty three.

My ultimate goal is to fill the forty Air-Tite ornament holders that I purchased. The one caveat that i have is that I won’t allow duplicate rounds on the tree. So it’s obviously a little tougher. There are not many mints that do Christmas silver rounds and some of the designs chosen I don’t happen to like.

You also know that I spend a fair amount of time of auction sites as well. While there aren’t many that would actually carry this style item. Most of them are on smaller auction sites or eBay. I general start with all new listings. This is where you can once in a while find a steal or someone that doesn’t know better or is new to selling on auction sites.

They will make mistakes listing it as a buy it now instead of an auction, or just not realize what the item is worth.

Well….

I can’t say for sure which one this item falls into, but my guess is probably both. Why? You are probably asking…..

While I know that it’s after the holidays and most people aren’t looking for this style item right now. There are still dozens of new listing each week for these items across several platforms.

This one ounce silver Christmas round happened to be on eBay. I also think that my timing couldn’t have been better. The item was listed only twenty five minutes before I had viewed it. It was listed at two dollars over spot with free shipping.

I immediately put it in my cart and proceeded to check out before someone beat me to it. I’ve found that if you don’t act fast you miss out.

So yesterday after returning from work this item was waiting for me.

It’s a Christmas silver round featuring two baby bears with a Christmas tree in the distance, with the inscription Peace and Love.

Now it is in my stacker Christmas round box for next year….
