Afternoon everyone ….

I am up against the clock….

Been working some marathon days again. I have another kitchen install coming up in nine days. Well that’s if the wood for the doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes and molding ever shows up.

I just got the furniture grade plywood yesterday, which is over a week late. What’s worse is I had to pay an additional $600 fuel charge for this delivery that was that late.

So I was up and in the shop by 4am today cutting up plywood for cabinets. At 8am I had a surveyor at my place doing an elevation certificate for my addition of my shop.

Got a call from one of my suppliers at 8:40 that the drawer slides I ordered on March 3rd we’re finally in. I immediately went and got them before some idiot there sold them on me.

I have two kitchens waiting on these slides to be 100% completed.

Once I had them in my possession, I made the calls to the clients. Both requested me to put them in today if possible. It really wasn’t possible, but both clients were really good about the delays and had already paid me in full for the work. So I just got back from doing both installs of drawer slides.

I now have to veneer edge 128 pieces of plywood for the cabinets. This kitchen in going to be a stunner. All natural furniture grade black walnut.

But I’m already thirteen hours into my day and I’m out of energy.

The solid walnut veneering can’t wait, because if the call about my wood delivery and it’s not done I’ll have no where to put the delivery.

So back to work I go…
