I’ve been thinking….

Afternoon everyone …..

So I’ve been stacking/collecting for years now. I’ve been able to take advantage of two big spikes in silver to increase my position.

While I do believe that there will be another big spike in silver that is overdue in my opinion. I’ve changed my belief on this next spike.

I’ve been waiting and waiting to play the gold to silver ratio for some time now. My number for that has been anything under 75-1.

But…..

In doing the math on the probability of this happening now is pretty much minuscule at best.

Why???

Because there are more people losing faith in fiat currency, and countries as well. This will cause gold to spike much more than it ever has during a silver spike. Which means the ratio will in most likely hood never dip below 80-1 again.

This is just my speculation in crunching numbers. So last year when the ratio was in the mid 70’s, around 77-1 I should have done my conversion.

I missed a golden opportunity….

Why am I trying to play the ratio?

Because I am way heavier in silver holdings than I am in gold holdings. Which leads to storage issues, and in my opinion future loss of gains in my position. Gold has and always will be the dominant metal and is a steady climber. Whereas silver while I love it has its place and that is and will always be second place to gold.

So now I’m constantly watching the ratio. If it gets closer to the 80-1 number I think I’m pulling the trigger on some silver and converting it to gold

The typical holdings of a true stacker are about 50/50 in dollars of both metals. Right now I’m at a 95/5 holdings. Not where I’d like to be.
