#sublimesunday….. lots to cover

Afternoon everyone …

Well the craziness continued this week. After last week being a pair of birthdays and Mother’s Day, I thought this week would be a little less hectic…… NOPE

As you may or may not know. I met up with @dfinney and hubby in New York City Tuesday night this week. If you missed it then go back and check out my Wednesday post.

While walking to our destination in the city, I managed to take a few snapshots of some cool buildings.

I originally wasn’t planning to work much on Wednesday, but that changed very quickly. I got not only one, not two, but three calls for estimates. My week was booked pretty hard, so Wednesday was my only free day. So three estimates driving all over.

I finished laying tile in a kitchen Thursday, that I wasn’t originally supposed to do. But the homeowners who I’ve done a lot of work for didn’t like any of the contractors they called. So it ended up being me. The mortar needed 24-36 hours to cure before I could grout. Saturday was a rainy mess here so that will be completed Monday.

On Friday my girlfriend was getting a new John Deere riding mower delivered. I needed to build her a ramp to be able to get it in her shed. Which is an easy job, but I was on a job over 50 miles away. I got there with just enough light left in the day.

Saturday during the rainy mess of a day, Peanut had a grooming appointment. Luckily they are a mobile groomer and she was able to park a few feet from the garage door.

On a different note, I’ve got some new shiny on the way. I’ll be posting it once it arrives.
