The wait is over…..
Afternoon everyone…
Well what has seemed like pretty much an eternity, the wait is finally over. It’s been just over three months now since I applied for my handgun permit.
I received the approved permit at the end of last week. I went to my range which is where my handgun was shipped to and filled out all the paperwork. In my state they are required to do a background check every time prior to you taking possession of a firearm. No matter what.
So I received the e-mail late last night that everything was approved and I was now able to pick up my new handgun.
This is the range I am a member of, and where my handgun was being held.
If you’ve been following along with my posts, you already know that I chose a CZ P-10F as my handgun. It is ranked in the top five of every list I’ve seen for most reliable, accurate, and problem free guys. It is used in competition, by professionals which also gives it another thumbs up in my opinion.
But it feels good to shoot, I like the sights and I’m pretty dam accurate with it.
So here it is, the wait is finally over…..
My wrist is still hurting so I haven’t shot it yet.

I stack them guns too! Got a permit years ago, its a must have because of some rules like picking up your kids from school. you have to have one to park anywhere near a school, even to run into a near by store. I like the no waiting when making a purchase too!

I’ve had my FID card, this was just a permit to get another handgun. The wait is nuts now. There’s all sorts of laws here on what you can and can’t have on firearms. No clips more then 10 bullets, can’t transport firearm in same case as ammo, can’t order more then 100 rounds at a time. There’s more….
