What a horrible game….

Afternoon everyone….

As probably just about the entire world knows that yesterday Super Bowl LIX (59), was played. It was played in New Orleans at the Superdome. The Kansas City Chiefs played the Philadelphia Eagles.

Let me start of by saying that I’m a ridiculously huge sports fan. I follow all four major sports. Meaning football, baseball, hockey and basketball. In all of my sports and all of their rivalries. I hate NO sports team more than the Philadelphia Eagles. Their fans are complete trash, they are violent towards any opposing fans, they destroy their own city, and literally get away with actual crimes at games. I’ve witnessed two myself over the years.

While I’m not a fan of the Kansas Cith Chiefs and I’m quite sick of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and while I respect what Patrick Mahomes has accomplished he’s getting on my last nerve as well. But with all this I am still routing for them.

While I’m not going to go over the entire games in this post. I’d like to give my perspective on it.

The first quarter was pretty much dominated by the scumbags. They scored a touchdown, and that’s how the first quarter ended. There were two tickie tack foils one each way.

The second quarter the Chiefs got an interception and did nothing with it. Then the scumbags kicked a field goal. The very next possession Mahomes got sacked twice in a row, then threw a pick six. 🤦🏻

At this point I’m contemplating turning the game off. Coming back from a seventeen to nothing deficit isn’t impossible, but the Chiefs look horrible. I’m going to give it till halftime, then make my decision.

Well Mahomes threw an interception on his own nine yard line. Of course they scored, making it 24-0 at halftime.

It’s the first time in my life that I actually turned off the Super Bowl.

That’s where my story ends. The final score was 40-22, but it was all garbage time scores for the Chiefs. The scumbags actually had their second string guys in during the fourth quarter.

Wow, that sounds like a rough game for you. I can really feel the frustration and disappointment in your words. It’s tough when a game doesn't go the way you hoped, especially when it's such a big event like the Super Bowl. And when it's against a team you despise—yikes!
Sports have a way of stirring up intense emotions, don't they, @silverd510? It's one of the reasons they're so captivating. Even when things don't go your way, there's always the next season to look forward to. Maybe the Chiefs will come back stronger and give the Eagles a run for their money in the future. 😄

Could not have gone worse for the Chiefs... I didn't finish the game either. By halftime the game was over already, a very boring game. Even worse for you because you hate the Eagles. I lived in Philly and I never liked them either!

A much more interesting game then the way you described it but in the end it happens that a team's hard work and luck wins.
