1973 American Silver Editions Pope John XXIII Silver Art Bar, 24kt gold overlay

It is a gorgeous bar! A proof silver bar that has some natural toning. This art bar has a limited mintage of 1,000 pieces only.



Pope John XXIII was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from October 1958, until his death in June 1963. He is shown in this silver bar giving a blessing.


A 24K gold on 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver, this bar was minted in 1973 by American Silver Editions of New Jersey. The edge is stamped 00289.

These are some of my silver coins depicting the Popes of the Roman Catholic Church. I have quite a few silver coins and bars of my most loved Pope Saint John Paul II.
