2023 Somalia Silver Elephant Coin
The Somalia Elephant coin is among the most well-liked 1 oz silver coins in existence. These lovely silver coins, known as the Zambia Elephant when they were initially released in 1999, were some of the first in the world to feature fresh design elements every year.
The depiction of the African bush elephant on the reverse alternates yearly, however the national coat of arms of Somalia appears on the obverse every year.
2023 Somalia Silver Elephant Coin (BU)
The most recent rendering of the African bush elephant from the Bavarian State Mint may be found on the reverse face of the 2023 Silver Elephant coins. The centerpiece of this year's design is an elephant's head from the African jungle. The elephant uses its trunk to lower a branch from a tree so it can eat the leaves inside the tree.
Coin Highlights:
20th release of 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coins.
Contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver in BU condition.
Bears a face value of 100 Somali Shillings.
The obverse features the coat of arms of Somalia.
On the reverse is an elephant reaching for foliage in a tree.
The Somalia coat of arms is depicted on the coin's obverse side. This pattern is present throughout the entire series and has a crowned shield that is supported by leopards. The shield has a solitary star in the middle of a field of horizontal lines.
Even though this coin, known as the Somalia Silver Elephant, is the 20th in this series, it is actually the 25th overall. This series, which is generally known as the African Wildlife Series Elephant Coin, was first produced as the Zambia Elephant from 1999 to 2003 before being renamed the Somalia Elephant in 2004.

Animal one loves without realizing why, intelligent, silent in approach always a pleasure to see out in the bush. No realistic reason as to why a different country for the elephant to showcase, perhaps good reason to run it again, due to popularity.

Yes, the African, Somalia Silver Elephant Coin, has always been one of my favorites. I really like the idea, of the Coat of Arms, rather than a politician. I've got one. They rarely, turn up, at a LCS, and carry, an even higher, than, the already high premium. Thanks again, SILVER SAVER - @silversaver888.
