I ended up picking up another Pamp Suisse Lady Fortuna, but this time I went for the tiniest version they make — the 1‑gram gold bar.

It’s funny because this all started with the 1 oz silver Lady Fortuna bar I bought in Hawaii during one of my trips. I wasn’t hunting for bullion or anything; I just walked into a shop, saw it, and thought, “Well… that looks cool.” Next thing I knew, I owned it.

What’s wild is how hard these things are to get now. The exact silver bar I bought back then is completely out of stock at APMEX, and the prices today are nowhere near what I paid.
