Yes you have! You saw it first, twice in @silverd510's blog. And then once again in @kerrislravenhill's blog.

I don't care so much for the pouch that came with my silver, which is made of "distressed" suede leather.

Monarch Viking Warrior Shield Maiden, 5 oz

Poured 5 troy ounce .999 fine silver bar from Monarch Precious Metals with custom leather pouch. The front of the bar features a viking shield maiden. The back of the bar is stamped "5 Troy Ounces .999 Fine Silver" with the Monarch crown mint mark and features an image of a Viking ship. The bar has been given an antique patina and rough tumble. Monach Precious Metals


This is the 2022 series of Viking Warriors of Monarch. they are also well-know for the Egyptian series, Sugar Skulls, and Building Blocks.


What distinguishes them for the other foundries is the way they package their specialty lines. They use small wooden crates, wooden boxes, sack cloth pouches, etc for some of their products. But of course, they pass that on to the customers. For instance, for this product, you pay an additional $4 per ounce for the packaging.

Yes, it is real silver! There are pourers in YouTube and IG that either privately pour or sell some to stackers, and others have branched out to selling publicly in coin shows. Some sell their products online!
They are beautiful!

Some are shiny and some are antiqued. And among those antiqued, some are done fine, whereas others are rough.
They are all pretty!

Hahaha!! Got a love hate relationship with the stuff going back almost 50 years :-) Haven't bought any in about 10 years. Swore it off for a while.....but I miss it :-)

Still have almost everything I collected since I was about 8!

Initially I started with circulating junk that I collected from change (yep -- it was still in pocket change back then). My father owned a grocery store so I found lots in the cash register.

When older I started collecting and buying. Still bought mostly junk U.S. silver, but as I got older I bought more collectible "junk" silver like quality Morgan silver dollars, US commemorative silver coins and such.

Still have almost all of it. When I did the major bulk of my buying, silver was about $20/ounce so it was really only in the last couple of years that I was "in profit" on my purchases.

I kind of like silver better than gold :-) Have small amounts of gold coins but not much.

Probably just keep on holding for now. May sell one day when it is advantageous or necessary :-)

To be honest, when I saw it in the web, I was attracted to the pouch first. But I was disappointed with the material they used. It looks dirty, hahaha!
But the silver bar is so worth it! If only the suede was a little lighter in color.
Did I show you the pouch where I keep my gold. Here, I have a photo on my phone.
