Some Outstanding Hand Poured Silver

I only purchased hand-poured silver made by friends in the silver stacking community since I began "collecting" them in 2015. My motivation is to help these friends further their craft and to spread the word about their YouTube channels.

I am drawn to designs in silver that feature American emblems such as the Bald Eagle and the American Buffalo, much as I am to the Morgan Dollar, Peace Dollar, Walking Liberty Half Dollar, Barber Quarter, Mercury Dime, and the American icon Statue of Liberty.

Few silver hand-pourers are outstanding in what they do.
Rik Schultz
of Rix Metal Worx is certainly one of them.

Prototype Hand Poured Silver Round,by Rix Metal Worx

This is the first and preliminary model of Rik's "Horse" from which other pours will be developed. The succeeding pours will be about or over 1.5 ozt. This piece is stamped "P" for prototype and first one made. Rik also stamped it "SS" for Silver Saver.

What a splendid Horse Silver Round! I love it!

Some information about horses in American culture...

The horse, which the Plains Indians saw as a source of wealth and utilized for travel, hunting, and fighting, was fundamental to their way of life in the middle of the 1600s and played an important role in their culture.

In the 19th century, horses were used for many jobs. In the west, they were ridden by cowboys for handling cattle on the large ranches of the region and on cattle drives. In cities, including transporting people via carriage and horse-drawn public transport. They were used for hauling freight and for farming. In some cases, their labor was deemed more efficient than using steam-powered equipment to power certain types of mechanized equipment.

••.•´•.On a personal note....•´•.••

In my past young life, I learned show jumping and equitation. I spent several hours a day during my college life riding on the flat and over fences and on the equitation fields for dressage, show jumping and cross country... among the many other things I dabbled into.

This Eagle Round just so beautiful!!!!

The bald eagle’s role as a national symbol is linked to its 1782 landing on the Great Seal of the United States. Shortly after the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress gave Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams the job of designing an official seal for the new nation.

The American Buffalo is an American icon.

Rik also stamped this Buffalo Silver Round with "SS" for Silver Saver, to ensure that it stays in my collection, LOL!

Isn't this a magnificent Buffalo Silver Round?!!!

The Bison or American Buffalo became the first national mammal joining the bald eagle as an American symbol, which is America's national emblem since 1782. The US Congress passed legislation, the National Bison Legacy Act, which names the hoofed beast as a “historical symbol of the United States” and establishes it as the nation’s landmark mammal.

Aren't they magnificently beautiful?

Which of the three is your favorite?

KARMA,I believe in this, the universe returns the bad and the good to you, it is the law of life and the universe conspires, if people believed in KARMA, they would think before doing so much damage, why it is returned and in what way, it is not that I am very good, but I try to know better actions or be neutral
