“There Be Pumpkins Matey!”🎃………My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2026

“There Be Pumpkins Matey!”🎃
Welcome to “Stoney Ridge” the land of never ending Pumpkins ….. and wheelbarrows Lol!😇
Liz and Silvertop have been looking forward to today, and crossing our fingers, because the last couple of days were gray and rainy!😅
The Pumpkin Festival runs every weekend in October, today was the grand opening!🤗
Usually the first week is the best……….
So far, each first week has had beautiful weather, and this year was just that, nothing but blue skies!😎
In the third photo, you can see just the tip of our resident, active volcano Mt. Baker, that rises to 10,781 feet above sea level!😊
So many photos to share, Silvertop will call this “Part One” today!…………..😇
Liz tells me she now has her quota of the Orange Globes for the Year Lol!😇
“Silvertop I now have twenty nine Pumpkins!”🥰
Hmmm………………….
I had forgotten how prickly Pumpkins can be, Silvertop once again forgot his gloves!😬
Liz did remember to bring a pocket knife, just look at the size of some of these Pumpkin stems!😳
Next year we will bring a serrated knife, a normal sharp pocket knife just barely makes a dent in the stem, and felt like I was trying to cut the Pumpkin free with a butter knife Lol!😅
We normally have an agenda when we arrive!😇
You can’t just grab a Pumpkin and leave…………………
It’s like shopping for a Christmas tree, you need to wander around like a drunk man, stumbling through a field of thick vines and Orange Globes Lol!🤣
The second to last photo was Liz’s haul for today……………..
“Well, that was a bit more expensive than I expected Lol……. but the Pumpkin Festival only comes once a year Silvertop!”🥰
“That it does Liz……. I had a great time!”😍
Till tomorrow, and Part Two…….Silvertop Mike 😊
