A restoration of very beautiful frescoes in a church!!

Today, I managed to share this post with you about a place I explored a few days ago, located in Riva del Garda, near the beautiful Lake Garda. I came across these photos that I want to share with you because I found this place very interesting from an artistic point of view. It's the Convent of the Inviolata in Riva del Garda, and I was fortunate to see the church, which is undoubtedly one of the most important monuments in Riva del Garda. It's a beautiful Baroque-style church, and it's not always possible to visit its interior.

By the way, just yesterday, when I had a bit of time, I organized several photos I had taken here on Lake Garda. I only lack the time to prepare the posts, but as soon as I have a moment, I'll share everything with you.

Moreover, the entire complex has recently been restored, and the walls have been adorned with beautiful frescoes that undoubtedly enhance this place. I say this from experience because I've worked in this field for many years. It's not always easy to bring this type of frescoes to light, especially when, in many cases like this, they are covered with layers of cement and paint.

Certainly, below I will provide you with additional information in case you happen to be in that area and want to visit this building. The church has an octagonal shape, which is a somewhat unique form for a church. However, for those who have studied art or symbolism related to art, it's something typical in terms of Baroque architectural art. Besides, in my opinion, it allows more light to enter the interior of this church.

That's why I was keen on seeing this place. A friend of mine worked here for over a year, and this is the work that restorers do. So, I wanted to share it with you to help you understand the importance of preserving these works of art.

Whenever I see these works, I'm always very happy because they manage to bring these things to new generations. Most likely, a museum route will be set up in the future as well.
