Hello friends, I am excited to share with you the beauty of the places I have been lucky enough to visit. I have received a lot of positive feedback on my posts lately and I want to continue to give you new destinations to explore. One of the places I particularly love is near Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. There is a wonderful castle here, but what makes this place really special is the breathtaking view from the top. You can enjoy a 360-degree view of the lake and its enchanting hills. When I have time, I love to hike here. It is very easy, you just park your car in Padenghe sul Garda and then it is a short walk to the castle. I highly recommend visiting this place, especially for lovers of nature and history.
As you can see from the photo The castle is in excellent condition and is very nice to look at.

Yes, the view from the top of the castle is truly spectacular. Especially if you are lucky enough to arrive on a sunny day with little humidity, you can enjoy a clear, clean view. You can even see the peninsula of Sirmione, one of the most famous resorts on Lake Garda, which many of you will have already visited or heard of. It is an enchanting place with a long history and natural beauty. I recommend visiting the castle and enjoying the view, it is an unforgettable experience.

A small promenade has been created around the castle, allowing visitors to discover the surroundings and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are also lawns where one can stretch out and rest, but what makes this place really special are the strategically placed benches to enjoy the breathtaking view. You can sit and admire the lake and the surrounding hills, it is a truly relaxing and pleasant experience. I recommend taking a water bottle and a snack with you to make the most of the view and the panorama.

The meadow around the castle is always a riot of flowers. Although the cold can be harsh in winter, during the warmer weeks you can see the first flowers sprouting early, probably because spring is approaching. I remember spending an Easter Monday here, with a lovely outdoor picnic, and it was then that I discovered this enchanting place. I think I will return here this year to spend Easter Monday again, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the peace of the place.

Like all tourist places, this place can be a bit chaotic at the weekend, but if you choose to come during the week you can enjoy the tranquillity and peace of the place. As you can see from the photos, during the week there is hardly anyone there and you can enjoy the view and the beauty of the place in total tranquillity. I recommend planning your visit during the week to have a more pleasant and relaxing experience.

Honestly, this is not really a castle, it is more a small hamlet in which people still live today. Probably in the past, families living here bought houses in this stronghold that dates back to the 12th century. In the course of time, this stronghold was transformed into a small hamlet and you have the opportunity to take a walk inside the hamlet's streets. Although there are not many of them and there is not much walking, you can see the hamlet from a different perspective and therefore I recommend that you take a walk through the streets of this place, which is very beautiful and well maintained. However, there is an impressive number of pigeons, which can be a bit disconcerting.

I hope you enjoyed this simple post I shared with you and that it made you discover this place that I hope you will visit in the future. I tried to take you there virtually with my photos and I hope you enjoyed it. I look forward to your next virtual adventure.
