"Exploring the Charming Villages and Scenic Views: A Quick Weekend Adventure"
Hello dearest friends,
First of all, I want to wish you a wonderful weekend. I haven't decided yet what I'll be doing, but I have something in mind. Also, I wanted to share with you some photos I took yesterday, which, by the way, was a beautiful sunny day. We reached temperatures of 14 degrees, so we are already getting close to spring. I'm quite tired of this winter, even though I'm a bit under the weather. In fact, I had to return to work and, being in the Arezzo area, I went to visit a friend who lives in Loro Ciuffenna, a Tuscan town with a somewhat funny name, counting almost 6000 inhabitants. As you can see from the first photos I shared here with you, it's a beautiful village and is also part of the association of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
This place is located in the Upper Arno Valley, about four kilometers from the Arno, like many places in this Etruscan-origin area. We are at an altitude of about 900 meters. As usual, I strolled through the streets of the center of this village, and I must say I liked it a lot. In my opinion, especially the Central Street was very cinematic with its ancient clock tower.
And what about its beautiful stone bridge that crosses this canyon formed by this stream? It's a spectacular sight, and I also lingered on the beautiful doors of the houses, which are still the original ones. They have probably been restored over time, something I really like and often notice during these explorations.
In the end, before leaving this place, I moved a few kilometers and went to a very panoramic spot called Pratomagno. They say it's a very popular destination, especially for outdoor enthusiasts. Here I also saw many mountain bike trails, but above all, the panoramic view was the most beautiful, except that unfortunately, there was a bit of haze.
Mine was indeed a quick excursion because I had work to do, but I hope you enjoyed the few photos I shared. See you in the next post, and as usual, I thank you for your support. See you soon!
