Hello Dearest Friends,

Unfortunately, in these days, I had a slight flu attack, nothing particularly serious, and fortunately, now I'm feeling much better, so I had to stop traveling for a while. Today, I'll share some photos I took during the site visits I do for my job, which is to organize events, especially weddings. In this case, I still remember when I was at Villa Sommi Picenardi, a beautiful villa located in Olgiate, Lombardy. The day I took these photos was a warm one, even though it wasn't yet summer.

Looking at these photos always gives me a certain impression, imagining how suddenly this place fills with people. I had already heard about this place, as it is somewhat famous for its botanical attractions inside the park. That day, I let myself be intrigued by its fame and decided to do a site visit to explore it further as a potential venue.

Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the grandeur of the building with its architecture dating back to the seventeenth century. Just by seeing and touching the stone walls, I could feel its history. This sensation often happens to me when I visit such places, giving me a feeling as if I have been transported back in time.

Inside this place, I noticed two types of gardens: the Italian and the English gardens. They surrounded the villa and are still a spectacle for the eyes today. Seeing these fountains creates a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. On that day, I ventured into the secret corners of the garden, discovering many peculiar and fragrant plants that made this place a true attraction.

During my site visit, as I strolled amidst the lush nature, I definitely felt a special connection with the beauty around me. Every corner of the park had a story to tell, and during my exploration, I let myself be carried away by emotions.

At a certain point in the park, I noticed imposing marble statues that seemed to be watching over the villa and its grounds. One can only wonder what life was like in those times, for the significant family that built this grand residence.

Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the interior of the Villa because the wedding took place entirely outside. The current owners of this villa only rent out the external spaces, as they told me that the interior needs significant restoration, which they cannot afford at the moment.

Before leaving this beautiful villa, the owners decided to offer me a dinner in the beautiful Villa Park, and I felt grateful for the opportunity to visit such a fascinating place. It was truly a stroke of luck for me.

When you enter such places, you always take a dive into the history of beauty. Even after some time has passed, the memories of this visit will accompany me forever, and I can certainly recommend with enthusiasm to all those seeking a unique and unforgettable travel experience to visit this place.

I still remember when I returned home; I couldn't stop thinking about this villa and its beautiful gardens. So, I also recommended it to other couples because it's undoubtedly an ideal place to have a wedding, a truly beautiful location for the most beautiful day of one's life.

Thank you for reading this post, and I hope you enjoyed the photos. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any further information about the villa. See you in my next post.

What a wonderful place! Have you booked it for a wedding that you organize? The fact that you are not allowed to use the building is difficult, but the garden is soooo beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
