Hello friends of Pinmapple, today I want to share with you an unforgettable experience I had last December, visiting a beautiful house in Tuscany. While I was looking for photos for my next post, I came across those of the house and I immediately thought about the beauty of the place and the mild climate that I found. Although it was December, nature seemed to awaken, with its bright colors and intense scents. Even today, I think with pleasure of that day spent in this oasis of peace and beauty.

I present to you Villa Reale Marlia, a splendid Tuscan residence located a few kilometers from Lucca, which I had the pleasure of visiting recently. The photos you see were taken inside the park of the villa, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy. The park is characterized by numerous remains of Baroque architecture, which integrate perfectly with the surrounding nature, creating a magical and enchanted atmosphere. In particular, the artificial lakes are a real marvel, with their reflection of the surrounding clouds and trees. If you love beauty and nature, Villa Reale Marlia is a must visit!

Are you curious to know a little more about Villa Reale Marlia? I'll tell you my experience! Inside this villa, numerous events are organized, including weddings and ceremonies. Indeed, when I participated in the organization of one of these events, I was able to find out that the villa is closed for some months of the year. However, it is possible to visit it by purchasing a ticket which includes both a visit to the park and to the residence. I personally visited the villa in December and limited myself to taking a short walk in the park, but that already left me speechless with its beauty. If you are looking for a magical and evocative place for a ceremony or simply for a walk immersed in nature, Villa Reale Marlia is certainly the right choice!

Are you curious to discover the history of Villa Reale Marlia? So, let me tell you something about this wonderful Tuscan residence! The villa was built in the Longobard era, but became famous above all because in 1800 it was the property of Elisa Bonaparte Bacciocchi, the younger sister of the famous Napoleon Bonaparte. During her stay at Villa Reale Marlia, the princess hosted numerous important personalities of the time, including the famous musician Niccolò Paganini, who performed several times inside the villa. After the fall of Napoleon, Elisa had to flee Tuscany, but her residence remained a place of great charm and beauty. If you want to learn more about the history of Villa Reale Marlia and its illustrious guests, I leave you an interesting link below!

Villa Reale Marlia is a true paradise for lovers of nature and rare plants. The garden is dotted with tons of camellias, which I imagine must make it a sight during the spring, with their bright colours. But it's not just this that makes this place magical: here you can breathe a real atmosphere of other times, as demonstrated by the events in period costume that are organized from time to time. During my visit, I was also able to admire the recent restoration works, both of the villa itself and of the fountains and pools in the gardens. But what struck me most was the fact that this place is also suitable for families, who can bring their children to discover the park and its most beautiful corners. Without a doubt, Villa Reale Marlia is an enchanting and magical place that deserves to be visited.
