Natural expectorant based on aloe vera

Hello hiver friends a pleasure to be with you in this community and to be able to share with you what I know you like, the natural thing.

I for one have always been a supporter of natural products, I believe that natural products have many advantages for our organism.

Aloe Vera has a very good expectorant effect so it is ideal for treating coughs.

I tell you that recently the whole family was sick for the second time with the virus or one of its strains, perhaps, the Omicron, the truth is that we had a lot of headache, nasal fluid, sore throat and fever and, although we have passed most of the symptoms, we still have a lot of cough.
So I decided to make this preparation in order to expel or get rid of as much phlegm as possible.

It is a preparation based on Aloe Vera, which helps cleanse the body especially the bronchi, preventing them from blocking or having an infection due to excess phlegm after the viral process.
This home remedy was prepared by my dad when we were little and we were sick with the flu. That is why I have a lot of faith and the certainty that it works.

I will tell you the ingredients I used.

  • Aloe Vera.
  • Ginger.
  • Lemon.
  • Purple Onion.
  • Panela de Caña (Sugar Cane).

Preparation

After washing the aloe vera stalks well, we proceed to remove the peel, since we will use only the crystal. It is very easy to extract it with a teaspoon.
If you have honey at home it is much better, as I don't have it, then I used sugar cane panela.
We are going to dilute it by boiling it in water and to take advantage of the boiling add the well crushed ginger, and then when it is rested we will pass it through the strainer before blending because ginger is very strong.
As a last step we chop the onion and proceed to blend all the ingredients together.
Except the lemon.
The lemon should be added separately each time we are going to drink it.
We take half a lemon a day.
Once liquefied, we keep it in a glass jar.

We put the lemon in it at the moment of drinking it.

This homemade syrup should be taken for 4 days, once a day.

See you later friends, we will read you in the next opportunity.

This looks like a great recipe containing some strong antioxidants. Thanks for sharing this process and I do hope that you'll all experience better health.
I probably would have gone for honey, simply because I love honey, but the raw sugar is also good:)
