A Fighter Born Naturally.

Anthony Joshua's journey to the top of the fighting world started early. He displayed extraordinary athletic ability as a youngster, dominating in a variety of activities like soccer and track and field. Joshua's natural ability and immense promise weren't focused on boxing until he was 18 years old.

At Finchley ABC, a neighborhood boxing school in North London, Joshua started to hone his abilities and build the basics he would need to win in the ring under the guidance of his trainer Sean Murphy. Joshua's dedication to training and his unwavering work ethic soon paid off as he started to amass an amazing collection of amateur boxing honors.
When Joshua won the top position at the ABAE National Championships in 2010, it was the start of his rise to prominence in the boxing world. He further cemented his status as a formidable opponent by winning gold at the European Amateur Boxing Championships the following year. But Joshua's Olympic victory in London in 2012 was what really made him famous around the world.
In 2016, Charles Martin, a seasoned and hard-hitting opponent, presented Joshua with his first major obstacle. Joshua won the IBF World Heavyweight championship by knocking out Martin in the second round, defying the chances despite his lack of experience and tenacity. As he proceeded to win titles and honors in the heavyweight category, this triumph signaled the start of Joshua's reign as a global winner.

Joshua would go on to add the WBA (Super), WBO, and IBO championships to his collection over the following few years, beating opponents like Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, and Alexander Povetkin along the way. Joshua's reputation as one of the most dominant and fearsome heavyweight winners in recent memory had been cemented by the year 2019.

Anthony Joshua has continued to protect his championship position against tough opponents since reclaiming his titles following his loss in a fight to Ruiz Jr., showing his supremacy in the heavyweight division. Joshua consistently tackles his lost fights with a fresh perspective and a revised plan, displaying his fighting savvy and tactical skill.
