Life in the streets is full of fun. In the streets we have games. You will see our men sit under trees to play games like draft and ludo. At some corners, you could notice those who are having fun driving beer and palm wine. There are women too who gather to gossip. Young men are not left behind. Most of them hang out with colleagues. The other thing you will notice on the streets is clusters of young boys and girls who say they are in love.

Some of the things happening in our streets might not actually be taken as fun. The reason is that some people take the opportunity to engage in social vices. In some streets, it is not safe to walk in the night. Many people who happen to pass through such streets sometimes fall into the hands of criminal elements who rob them of their stuff.

Another bad side of life on the streets is the abuse of young girls. Many young girls have been abused just because they happen to pass through some streets returning home late in the night. We have had records of rapes and other immoral acts carried out on the streets. This abuse could also be seen in another way as married men lure young girls into indecent acts.

There are many clubs and gaming zones in the streets that promote married men spending time outside rather than with their wives and children. Some men enjoy staying out rather than being with their family at home.

We could also see the cases where people get themselves drunk because of trying to catch fun from bars in the streets. A lot of drunkards are bred in society because of readily available drinking spots on the streets.

We should discipline ourselves to avoid being trapped in social vices because of catching fun on the streets.
