My Indoor Babies...Nine Months Later
Gardening has always been one of my passions. I like to fill up the small spaces in our front and backyard with various plants - flowering plants, ornamental, even vegetables. And some fruit-bearing trees.
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we got into the plant craze, like every body else, and we purchased indoor plants, filling up every corner of our home with greeneries.
Here are a few of the young plants we bought when they were just about 4 to 6 inches in height and were still ‘babies’. We chose to buy them while still small since they are cheaper in price, but more so because there is definitely more joy in nurturing and seeing them grow.
We featured some of these in a previous post, about nine months ago, when they were still small and newly bought. Here They have since grown bushier, healthier, and definitely more beautiful. See how my babies have grown in nine months.
My red anthurium has more blooms.. from just two flowers, now a foursome. Aren't they gorgeous!
These coleus plants can be grown indoors but we placed them on the patio where they get more indirect sunlight. They are decorative with variegated and colorful leaves. They are easy to propagate just look at how they have grown taller and with a lot of leaves.
The desert rose is an outdoor plant. They love the sun. I got fascinated with its flower. I was so delighted when from a 4-inch plant it has grown taller and with a beautiful pink flower!
I hope you liked the gorgeous display of my growing plants. They are my small contribution to the greening of our dear planet earth.
Wow! They grow beautifully, my fave is your polka dot begonia, I hav'nt seen or touch that kind in person.
That Is one of my fave too, not very common. Thank you for dropping by.

Well nine months later, they're looking great!!! I really like the black beauty plant you have there. Funny enough, it looks a lot more like coral than the one just above called Under the Sea.
Thanks for the display
Oh I didn't notice that, but thank you for your keen eye and for dropping by.
