The first new moon looks completely dark and the new moon occurs when the moon is between the earth and the sun. The part of the moon that faces the earth doesn't get any sunlight at all and only gets light from the earth. This is why it looks like the first month looks a bit dark.

Changes in the shape of the moon based on the position of the moon in orbit with respect to the earth and the position of the earth in its orbit with respect to the sun. You must also realize that every night the moon shows a different shape. The moon is also called the natural satellite of the earth and if we see the moon at night with the naked eye, the shape what is displayed is certainly varied. and also not perfectly round, the moon also has a strange shape, although in theory the moon also has a spherical shape because it is formed by rotation.
