- MARRIAGE IS DIFFERENT FROM DATING
The marriage world is a different place all together. It’s not like dating and can’t be compared with dating. Therefore, thinking because you are good at dating you can also be good at marriage is a fallacy. Some young singles think marriage is just like staying with an opposite sex and enjoying the euphoria every now and then. The very things you think are exciting in dating relationships may not necessarily be exciting in marriage. Therefore before you rush to get married, bear in mind that marriage is never like dating, so you better prepare for it.
- MARRIAGE WILL NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY
It’s so unwise to tie up your happiness in marriage. In fact, there’s no happiness in any marriage in this world, it’s rather the couples who put the happiness in there. Therefore, putting all your hopes in getting married to be happy is never a wise decision to make. Never be misled by the media or the television shows; they are all fake. What you see the couples do in the movies doesn’t really happen in marriage. Therefore, don’t think what you are seeing in movies will be translated into your marriage once you do, because it won’t.
- DESPERATION WILL NOT LET YOU USE YOUR HEAD
Most young ladies out of desperation lock themselves up in abusive marriages. They ignored all the warning signs thinking they were in love and needed to settle down badly and therefore, settled for anything that promised marriage. People who get desperate for marriage don’t really make the right choices. Never allow your emotions to do the thinking for you but use your head.
- SUCH MARRIAGES DON’T LAST
In life anything you rush into, you rush out. Most rushed marriages lack the kind of foundation the couples really need to build a wonderful marriage. You can even take a cue from relationships where the couples just meet and within few days start a hot romantic relationship. The relationship just dies off after a short period. Reasons why most of these marriages lack a good foundation is because the couples ignore certain important factors which are necessary to building a successful marriage.
