What is Astral Entities?

Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games @cryptoreaper and @tanzofett that will use the same NFT's available now at https://www.astralentities.com for all their games in the Astral Entities Universe. The purpose of Astral Entities is to release several games with cohesive lore all utilizing the same NFT's. Developers will also have the option of creating in-network official titles and unofficial titles using the NFT's.

There are three games currently in development:

Taergyn

Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D-inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch in Q1 2022.

Discordant Adventures

Developed by @kiokizz, is a text-based adventure on Discord. Alpha testing for the program is live now on the discord server, but there is no cryptocurrency attached yet. This will be the first game released with a goal of Q1 2022.

The Hunter's Guild

The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make several hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.

Many, many more games are planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

Official Business

• Discordant Adventures could be out by the next AMA for chapter testing.

• EX-01 sent out to those who helped test the Open Packs feature.

• Androids like EX-01 will be useful for crafting down the line.

• AMA voters voted down blending early choosing to wait to see the value of the cards we have before choosing to blend them.

Questions

Will Gold Foil cards earn more astralite in the community pool than non-Gold foils?

You will earn 2% more astralite for each gold card used in a game of Taergyn, and the community pool will account for that as well.

Will the tier of the card impact how much astralite is earned by the card (aka will Tier 5 earn more than Tier 1)?

Yes, it will affect your portion of the community pool. Gold foils will perform different functions in each game, so one game could award extra stats instead of extra astralite.

What are the current estimates on release schedules, and will you release a roadmap?

The goal is Q1, and we will look at releasing a roadmap soon.

What is the hard cap on foundlings? I mean how many can we have before diminishing returns?

There is one per set, so there is a hard cap of 893. We don't know yet how we will use them in the games, so we're not sure quite yet.

If people can Voltronify their Ex-01's - can we all make submissions and as a result, the winner gets minted as an official NFT?

Their initial thoughts are to customize the EX-01 with crafting to customize him to be your choice of Agile, Hard-hitting, Tanky, etc.

Has there been any more discussion on a point system for limiting what cards you can use in any given game? ie you can’t just load up 7 tier 5s to smash folks?

Point totals can be adjusted match to match so that players can choose how challenging their match will be. There might be different leagues as well.

Can we get a random Theory Crafting idea shared with us?

Is there going to be any rebranding of the wax collection name? I can see there being issues and confusion with the collection being called astralpromos in the future.

Wax is only giving them one set, so they can't change the name or create more. They would love to rebrand it, but it's not likely in the near future.
