What is Astral Entities?

Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games cryptoreaper and tanzofett that will use the same NFT's available now at https://www.astralentities.com for all their games in the Astral Entities Universe. The purpose of Astral Entities is to release a number of games with a cohesive lore all utilizing the same NFT's. Developers will also have the option of creating in network official titles and unofficial titles using the NFT's.

There are three games currently in development:

Taergyn

Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch Q1 2022.

Discordant Adventures

Developed by kiokizz, is a text based adventure on Discord. Alpha testing for the program is live now on the discord server, but there is no cryptocurrency attached yet. This will be the first game released with a goal of Q1 2022.

The Hunter's Guild

The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make a number of hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.

Many, Many more games planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

Community Questions

Are the Stats the same up and down on the card, but for the different stat point?

They are three groups of five with no relationships with each other between Physical, Mental, and Sensory. However, there is nothing that would stop a game in the future from treating them together. Each game will interact with each stat differently.

Will docked cards require ram? For instance if someone is planning on placing a bunch or cards into the community pool, will they need to buy ram to store them there?

Each card will have their own identifiable serial number for tracking for cooldowns and docking, so you won't send the card requiring wax resources. They stay in your wallet, so it won't need staked resources for transfers for docking. A timestamp of when your card last interacted with our game, so some of them will have a timer attached to them. Cooldown and Docking will be processed off chain.?

What was for you personally, the biggest challenge you faced in 2021, and what do you consider your proudest achievement?

• Tanzo: The biggest hurdles were the spreadsheet with all the stats for the cards, and the templates to get all the cards processed. My proudest accomplishment was the Guidebook.

• Cryptoreaper: My biggest challenge was figuring out all the unknowns of creating a small startup and juggling so many different hats. My proudest accomplishment was building such a wonderful community even though it wasn't my accomplishment, but all of you who helped us build it.

Can the games be played on Mobile or any device?

Taergyn will be browser based, so it won't be available right away. Down the line it will be available for mobile.

Discordant Adventures will be on Discord, so it can be played on mobile right away.

When can we expect the release of the first game?

Alpha testing will be Q1 2022

Will there be a Free to Play Entryway or a Trial version, so players can check if they like the game before investing?

Taergyn is going to have a community pool where new players can earn without making a purchase, but not nearly as much as if you owned your cards. Free to Earn won't mean making 500$ a day, but you'll be able to play and win if you know strategy. A great deal of your winnings will go to the players who staked their cards into the community pool.

When people use cards from the community pool - will you draw all the cards from the same person "donating to the pool" in order to avoid having to track 7 cards from 7 users?

The community pool will have an account that holds all earnings in it, and then it pays out once daily. You will get a ratio of the earnings based on what was staked to the pool to make it less RNG dependent on what you earn from staking your cards to it.
