Netflix is doing a time skip for Avatar The Last Airbender season two and I hope they dont change too much of the story or the cast from S01, the executive producers addressed it directly and say it was necessary given where the actors are now and that logic makes sense, but part of what made the original story work was watching the group figure things out step by step as they traveled, you could feel the learning happening in real time, season two drops later this month which is almost two and a half years after season one, a time skip can work if they handle it carefully but I hope they do not use it as cover to skip over the parts of the journey that actually matter,
