MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION FIRST WEEK OVERVIEW
Greetings to my fellowmen and all of MCGI. It's a wonderful Sunday and I'm happy to have been blessed by the word of God and doctrines of Brother Eli throughout last week's Mass Indoctrination Service.

I decided to take this time to share a summary of some of the things that really impacted me in this week's Mass Indoctrination Service and also take this time to invite my fellowmen to join the zoom live streams from tomorrow Monday to Friday at 7PM PHT.

MCGI (Members Church of God International) by God's grace is hosting a three-week event called the Mass Indoctrination Service. This is a powerful time with the servant of God and pastor of the Members Church of God International by the name of Brother Eli who will go deep into the word of God and explain to the fullest, the true doctrines of Jesus Christ.
If there are questions you have about the truth, doubt or confusion regarding the Christian Faith, Brother Eli under the spirit of God has the answers for you.
I have personally been blessed and transformed by just the first week. We've just finished the first week, and the second week starts tomorrow Monday. It's the same time every single weekdays. There is also the Thanksgiving service which will be held on Saturday.
Now my dear friends and fellowmen, this is really a great chance to join MCGI on Zoom and listen to the servant of God, Brother Eli, as he explains the important and true doctrines of Jesus Christ.
In the first week, we started by focusing on the doctrine of baptism. We learned that baptism is like a public commitment to follow our Lord Jesus Christ just as the apostle Paul was baptized after he decided to follow Jesus. It's a way to show that you want to be part of the faith. It is the first doctrine of Jesus Christ that the gentiles be baptized and to join the church.
After baptism the next thing to do is to become a member of the church of God. We are commanded to join the church of God and receive the wisdom and doctrines of God by His servants in the church.
We also talked about prayer during the first week.
Prayer and the right way to pray is also another doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Brother Eli taught us that sincere and humble prayers are what God listens to. God never pays attention to prayers from people who are only trying to show off or who aren't living good lives or are living in sin.
There are those that pray standing in the corners of the temple in a manner to let people see that they are spiritual and are praying. People that do that have already received their rewards and God will not listen to them.
We also learned about the right posture a Christian should be in when praying secretly to God. This was one of the most shocking truths that I didn't know until listening to the teachings. As christians when we go into our rooms and closet, as a sign of respect unto God, we are supposed to bow down and fall on our face as our Lord and master Jesus did to pray to the everlasting father.
Brother Eli also talked about the importance and value of Fasting and prayer and how it should be done by ourselves and by couples or married people. Fasting means going without food for a while, and it's a way to become more disciplined and grow spiritually. When we combine fasting with prayer, it helps us connect with God on a deeper level.
However we were taught that during fasting we should not only abstain from food but we should also give food to the hungry, cloth the naked and forgive or release anyone from the burden of owing us.
If someone owes you and they cannot pay, during a fast, it will be more effective if you let them go.
I also learned that as married couples, if the two agree to come before God in fasting and Prayers, they should abstain for sexual relations to avoid temptation and to also present themselves well before the Lord. By observing to follow all these doctrines, we will be acceptable on to God and He will hear our prayers, heal our sicknesses and the sicknesses of our loved ones. He will also bless us and grant our request.
