MCGI ZOOM SEPTEMBER 7 : BY BROTHER DANIEL - DECEPTION AND FOLLOWING THE WORD OF GOD

Greetings to my fellowmen and all of MCGI. May the blessings of the Lord be with everyone. By God's grace we're all alive and today is another day and another opportunity to learn the Word of God from the Zoom meetings by MCGI.

I have truly been blessed today as well and have learned a lot of the word of God from Brother Daniel and Brother Eli.

Before I go into the lessons I learned today, I would like to take the time to say God bless MCGI for all the good works they do for their fellowmen in Palawan. God bless Brother RYN as well for being there with the people.

MCGI CARES, MCGI SHINES

MCGI not only helps their own people but people that are not even part of the church. God bless them for their good heart.

Mass Indoctrination Invite

I would also once again like to take this time to invite everyone to the Mass Indoctrination Event that will take place on Monday September 11th 7pm PHT.

NOW TO THE LESSONS

In today's teachings, Brother Daniel taught a lot about the need to listen and learn the word of God to avoid the many deceptions and frauds going around in our world today. The word of God teaches us what God's will is for us and in order for us to walk in righteousness and be sanctified before God, we need to learn and practice the word of God.

As the word of God says in 2 Corinthians 11 : 3

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Indeed there is the devil or satan who is a deceiver that works amongst false prophets and many people to deceive the people of God. Our only solution is to go into the word of God and learn it and know what it says about our deeds and follow.

Brother Daniel taught well from the word of God about the danger of deception. When we are deceived, we can fall into transgressions and sins. We should keep the word of God so we don't get deceived and fall into transgressions.

I was also taught that God wants us to repent from our bad deeds and evil or sinful ways but we need to know the word of God to know what is evil and what is good and to know what to repent from.

As it was written in Romans 2 : 4

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Now the word of God is what will sanctify us and free us from sin. Sin enslaves us and keeps us from God. It is only through the word of God that we will be set free. This can be gotten from John 8 :32 - 35

I was taught about the presence of false prophets in the world. They deceive us by twisting the word of God. We need to learn and understand what God says in His word to be able to identify false prophets and avoid listening to them.

It is not just about knowing the word of God, we need to let it influence our deeds. How do we know whether someone is of God or not? We have to try their spirits by looking at their deeds. If what they do is of God and is according to the word of God, then they are of God and if it is not according to the word of God, then they are not of God.

I was taught to be very careful with my deeds both the things I do publicly and the things I do secretly. The reason is that every deed will be brought to judgement of God in the end.

I also learned that it is the whole duty of man to follow the commandments of God. The things we do must be in accordance with the word of God.

I learned that we must always follow the commandments of God and not the traditions of men. Whenever we have to decide whether to listen and copy other people's lifestyle, we need to first check whether it is in accordance with the word of God before following it. At the end, we are justified by the word of Christ and not the law of Moses as it was written in the Bible.

I also learned to do good to people regardless of whether they are my fellow man or not because the Lord will reward every good deed. So I'll never regret the good I do.

Gossip

We learned a lot about Gossip as well. In the video, they said by scientific research that it is in the nature of human beings to talk about others. It is deeply rooted in human nature but Gossip is actually different from talking about others or have a chat about someone.

With Gossips, the gossiper's intention is to look good and feel good in the eyes of the people they are gossiping to. However the bible makes us understand that gossiping is evil. It destroys relationships, and causes strive or confusion among brethren, family and friends. God does not approve of gossip which means it is a sin.

As it was written in Proverbs 16 : 28

A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.

The word of God is against Gossipe and rumor mongers. As christians, it is evil to spread tales of the situation of families and friends which causes destruction and strive.

A Message About Work

Also, I really enjoyed the interviews they made asking people about how they feel about their work. I learned something very profound from Brother Eli. He said that whatever work we do, it must be done with Love. I love my work as a blogger. 🥰I will only spread the Truth.
